To the relevant admins: I have used the server application thingy but have not received a response as yet... i have put alot of work into raising awareness of this mod as the old version was great and i would dearly like to give this mod a chance but to do that i need at least one server and hopefully within a decent time frame of the release of the client package (server setups are already available)

Please visit www.TO-Crossfire.net for the server files, the client is available for pre-load but will not work until they release the encryption password later tonight/early tomorrow (28th/29th of april)... I am happy to manage what i can to see that it gets done but i have had no experience with server management...

Thankyou for bringing this mod to our attention. However, the people you must convince is not us but players in general. If you can get a good group of people interested and wanting to play this mod, we will definately consider putting up a server for you guys.

This particular messageboard is not the most popular so I suggest you spread awareness in more popular boards such as:

oceaniaut.com (this is down atm...but keep checking it)

Once you have the people to back you up, you can just post here to let me know where the support is.

My pc is screwing up but from what i've been able to play im sure that with a bit more feedback and tweaking it will be just as addictive as the first version

when u log into the gae it'll be the first on the internet servers list

sidewinder ever played FragOps? better then TO imho.... and aslo, SIF it is like cs, sure buying guns is a similarity but it does not constitute the same..FO and TO are/was better if FO had an active community id rather play that... made so many friends off that it....that was the game that got my heart XD

Well its quite good.. apart fr the voice acting and nades being too heavy its very much like FO/TO... the maps are actually quite fun and there arent too many major bugs i've come across the more people who really get into this the better the community will be so jump on the server and play a bit... www.Ausut.com and www.austoc.com are the main forums dedicated to the game... and you are right its not much like CS but i was trying to explain it to them in terms they would understand... they shouldnt have locked the thread

I have a Question about the game In regards to "The Arena".

I have the server in my Favourites - GameArena Crossfire #1/OBJ-SunsetBlossom () 144.140.154.109:21000 [5/16], but it opens UT2004 and not the mod.

I have tried to force it to open the Crossfire.EXE but it doesn't work.

Also "Organise games" does not find TO-Crossfire?

Any help would be appreciated.

don't know if this is any help because i don't use cogs i just connect ingame through crossfire have you tried that ?

Im guessing its like the Deathball mod.

If you go through Game arena it will open normal UTk4 and will try to download the current DB map. Instead you have to open DeathBall click on online and find it through the list.

Any chance of some custom maps being added to the server?

the 10 or so are getting kinda boring, and there are some good customs available.

BUMP... it took me this long to reply because i could never log into game arena, i hope there is still a server to play on sice 1.5 is out now and more stable.

Hmm... is this server still up, and what version, because when im connecting, it keeps trying to download maps :S
