Well windows 8 is here(for me any way) and i am having some strange things happen eg the font in firefox is not displaying and buttons on this page and in downloads and other things are not being displayed they still work you just cant see the letters and i have to press ' to get @ to work these two #@ are completely borked.

The icons on the side bar also don't show up immediately so iff you want to restart your computer move your mouse pointer to the top right of the screen a bar opens move your mouse down to the appropriate icon and then slide the mouse back up and the options appear.

W8 start button:
When you install go to custom install and uncheck all the tool bar crap.

Well i love learning and i won't rage quit i think the problem with firefox and web pages and some desktop pages displaying like W98 is because the damned screen color settings have defaulted to ultra.
I have yet to figure out how to reset this.

(2)Well after resetting the keyboard to america dvorgac? the @ and ' problem is fixed and the display setting on ultra that was causing so much grief in the graphics is also fixed.

By exploring the side bar i have located all my useful stuff that was on the start button i have got the address links desktop hoopla to display, the next job is to reduce the size of the Dr Frankenstein desktop icons and then to celebrate get a dirX 11 W8 game.

I hit MS up for a Media center key just because,i don't use it much since i got a proper TV still it installs the missing codecs for playing stuff like movies and tv and at the moment it's free, pretty soon $30 i would kick myself if down the track i needed a media center and i left it to long.

Yea that's true microsoft said no one used it so they left it out of W8 i think the real reason was they didn't want to pay royalties for the dvd player or some thing i don't think it will play blue ray.

Yea i also used it for TV and DVD movies but the TV cards kept dieing in the **** in the end it was cheaper just to get a proper TV.

It is awesome to watch the flood of hits on the apache log. A bit like the game servers going 24/7. Those servers went pretty well.

I dare to read. As i said earlier, that response does not seem to bad.

They are games, people do take the games very seriously but you don't need to be mad for the next 15 years over your rage at some character called GymLanTan.

I only rage for a week or so. Sometimes longer, but well within the 2 week time span.

BF3 definitely is no BF2. BF3 has brought gamer rage to a whole new level. BC2 was only a 32 player game. Team stacked 64 player servers creates a lot of rage. The level of rage in BF2 was very minor.

I have a feeling GA never liked omg and that other one. There was a couple of popular clan servers in bf2. They were good. People played all the servers. That game was good.

Silly to sell servers if you don't like clans.

Out of 2000(exaggerating, 1000 at least) people, 4 people were unhappy.

I am perfectly happy to never speak to an online gamer again. Realistically, BF3 was the end of online gaming for me. I havn't played the games in ages.

I am here just to do GameArena a service, they can't seem to do it for themselves.

If the games get better, i will play. Battlelog is like trauma for me.

If GameArena had a popular BF2 server, i would play it. The servers seem very empty.

I argued with one online gamer total, before BF3.

It is like a glitch in the brain. Get mad at people who are trying to do things for you. Even GameArena has the glitch. The people who rent servers, think you like them doing so.
