Try rolling to 301.42 the upwards?

May as well hijack thread, probably half related. - When I run BF3 in SLI, the cards are all sitting at 40-50% usage, but I'm only pulling 60-65fps with no AA. When I enable AA, the FPS just drops even further, and the usage doesn't change much at all. Even the core clocks don't max, they sit around 850Mhz each. Also, the textures (and probably everything else) looked worse than Low.

Forced driver to Max Perf mode, the cards all clock properly, but still low usage. When I bench them though, I get max usage across them all, and pull a healthy result.

Why is this happening?
Do I need to clear the cache after installing more cards?
Is it just the new drivers?

And Audi, msg me on blog

high jack away

I wouldn’t use these drivers as they are still kind of beta. Try the previous one.

My issue seems to be ping related as iam getting passive ping now across all games and I can only correlate it to the driver update since that’s when it began. Tried a different LAN port, ran ping test, and perfect score. Played an online game then bam, high pings after runing ping test again.
I also rolled back to 301.42

W T F is going on....

Lol shut up

Unplugged my nas from the router ping drops plug it back in bam high pings. Either and more likely the two issues weren't related or that is one **** up driver!

Started getting all kinds of video issues to the point where I had to boot into safemode and remove the driver.

During which, I installed the EARLIER copy of the 306 WHQL's. (The non Windows 8 one) and basically all of my problems disappeared.

Was pulling close to 200fps @ 1920x1080 SLI, and over 80-90FPS @ 5760x1080 with 100% usage, all Ultra, HBAO. Above 60FPS with 4xAA as well, good ****.

Stop everything, uninstall that 310 ****, get the lower 306 driver. May need to driver sweep and/or clean install as well.

Were these previously the beta release? If they are, I haven't had any trouble with them yet. I only got the update notification last night and haven't installed them yet...

The last beta I believe was accidentally named (in the filename or on the site) as WHQL, but we were then told it would be another week before WHQL would release.

The filesize between last beta and WHQL is practically identical, so close it's probably a few tweaks apart.

All the betas have been showing issues after 306.

I didn't notice any problems myself either, till I went SLI, but that could also be coincidental.

All I know is I was having major issues, even on the desktop, with 310. BF3 was using 40-50% on each card and producing 50fps as a result. After reverting, I now get 95-99% usage, and 100+fps with same settings.

Never had a single issue with them but now I've got the 310.90 drivers so we will see how these go.

Odd you never see a thread about AMD Catalyst drivers i think their last update was in 2012.

That is probably why i guess.

I am surprised AMD is still selling cards with all the good stuff available with nvidia you would have to be a banjo playing hick to use any thing else.

Is the stuttering issue mainly affecting SLI configurations? Im using these drivers but im not experiencing any such issues. Though im yet to find a stable overclock, could it be driver related?

Still waiting on more posts about .90 before I bother. People seem 50/50 on them.

Do not install 310.90 drivers. I made the mistake against my better judgement. There is a major bug in them too. On a cold boot your PC will fail to find the drivers and only on the reboot will your PC load as normal. As far as I can tell this is a 600series issue. nVidia have really been dropping the ball lately.
According to their rep they will have a v2 of the 310.90's out late this week....

Yeah I've been using 310.90 for a few days now and haven't had a problem as yet, is it only SLI systems affected?

A 310.70 Driver, what on earth is that.

The .96 drivers supersede these in practically every way.

Crysis 3 players need to apply an SLI fix to run the game properly.
