So i've got a mate how wants a micro ATX PC. I've never used a micro ATX board before and i don't know how much room they provide for a decent graphics card. what do you recon would be the biggest card you can put it a mATX case? I was thinking an Nvidia 550 ti. They're pretty good for mainstream gaming

The only thing that will determine what length card will fit, is the case. Usually if it won't fit, it's becasue the HDD cage at the front is in the way. What case is he planing on using?

Dunno about the aywun, but I've seen those CoolerMaster ones used, and if you mount the HDD down the bottom and the video card is long, it will rest on top of the HDD, but you could avoid it by mounting it up the top.

That's a monstrous heatsink for only a single fan.

Looks like a lot of overkill in that case.

I'm wondering if mATX systems are really compatible with being used for gaming at all? I would assume that such small components could only really be used for an "office system" type of PC. It strikes me as a bit strange to be trying to squeeze a high-end graphics card in a tiny box. Does your friend not have enough room on his desk for a full sized tower?

Pff Rocket, mATX are massive compared to mITX.

Went to pick up my SG07B-W today, brought it home and opened it and it was a SGO7B with no W, whereas the packaging said it was the one with the W. There is always something wrong with everything I buy.

SFF cases are good for LAN's and stuff. Not that I have ever been to one or plan on going to one.

They have the wrong ones in stock compared to the ones they have on their website. They only list the one with the window on their website, but the only ones they have are ones without the windows. I called them up before I went to get the second one and got them to open it and they said it's the wrong one. It's Umart too lol..
