This is from a reviewer. Quote: I honestly don't think IB is to bad, i think that when the large number of chips start rolling out i would guess that 50% of them will do ~4.4Ghz on 1.2v with HT ON , at that voltage a good air cooler will be good enough.
On an average water loop most chips will see 4.7Ghz and a good water loop will be able to push most chips towards 5Ghz (that is close to a 5.2Ghz SB). Find a good chip and a good water loop and i would not be surprised if we see 5.2Ghz 24/7 runs and that is the equivalent of a 5.4Ghz SB.
So in short 50% of chips will do:
- ~4.4Ghz on Air with HT on, this is about 4.7Ghz on a Sandy Bridge - ~4.7Ghz on a decent custom watercooling loop = 5Ghz Sandy Bridge - ~5.0Ghz on a good custom watercooling loop = 5.3Ghz Sandy Bridge.
Have a read dude: http://www.overclock.net/t/1242313/more ... es-are-up#

Audi wrote: Nice what size is it? How much you get that for? 240GB. I got a good deal on it since it was used. The store i got it from had it in a display PC for about a week. They sold it to me for $410, which isn’t too bad considering they go for $500+ So worth it, this thing has completely revolutionised my PC experience. Its blazingly quick. Especially when it comes to video editing. But even overall windows performance is amazing. Game load times are slashed and boot time is insanely quick. Highly recommended if you’ve got the cash. The only downside is, depending on your mobo, making sure it fits and doesn’t obstruct the GPU’s fan. And forget crossfire set ups. Also your PC becomes kind of limited with PCI slot real estate especially if you have, or want, a sound card. So you need to plan all that out. On the plus it was incredibly easy to install and I haven’t had a single issue with it whatsoever.

I just saw that too, gtx690 is a dual kepler on one card, they gave no info on clock speeds.Interesting to see if its like the 590 underclocked dually. That **** is gunna be expensive.... (edit) listed @ $999 and available early next month, not sure what that means in Aus. clock speeds are actually close 1019mhz for 690 and 1058mhz for 680. Plus all the other **** is double.

Not to mention Max Payne 3 in 3d! dont tempt me im holding out for GTX685/780 (GK110) ill sli that for sure, not gtx680 (GK104) which apparently is only a mid-range chip and my 3d monitor is a samsung which doesnt support 3d vision im also tempted to sell it and get a new asus 27" VG278H 3d vision 2 monitor but i want 3 of em so near the end of the year if GTX685/780 are released ill sli them and go 3d surround as well

air compressors are all good as long as there is no moisture in them, I just pull parts out and use a (clean) paint brush to get all the dust and **** off my bits.

i prefer a bit of cleaning putty for the hard to reach places such as fans, and a vacuum for the rest.
