Did a PC Casegear order Sunday night a week ago and they only sent it Thurs arvo. Has the powersupply, blocks, etc. So I built up the basics with one card all on air with a 750W Tt. The new BIOS is pretty awesome, just set up for stock speeds, with only XMP 2400 C10 changed from default for now.

Spamming it with burn tests, memtests, and looping benchies to make sure nothing's faulty, don't want to clock up on this PSU.

To be honest I'm not seeing any difference. I used to notice it a lot in dayz, but that isn't installed for me to test it out on.. But tried it on csgo and bf3, and I can't see any difference.

edit; do you have it so when you try to change the display type it's just stuck on 3d? Because it's really hit and miss with mine. On the desktop it will be stuck on 3d (emitter off), and then ingame it won't be stuck on 3d and you can change through sRGB etc. (still with emitter off). I've tried it out with most variations I could think of, and I see no difference.

I remember when I was like 10 years old, I didn't know what "FPS" meant, so I never noticed it when I was playing games on 20fps, it was only untill I was educated about it I noticed it.

Circa I found out it needs to be setup on a clean install of the drivers. So do those same steps, but do them when you setup the 3d.

That PSU will run in tandem with the 1200. It will run all the cooling and peripherals. 8x 140mm PWM's, 12x 120mm Standard, Pump, controllers, etc. Only $50 extra for the second PSU, both Silverstones. Cutting all it's wiring except the rails I need, and piggybacking it's PowerOK onto the 1200 so they run together.

i have a little set of speakers that are hooked up to an integrated valve amp that is hooked up to an external DAC that is hooked up the the PC via USB - its not an expensive sound system: more like entry level high end
