i only buy games if they have good MP but also a decent SP

I personally wouldnt.
I only buy games if the multiplayr demos are sensational. I didnt think it was anything really special.
Not when there are about 4 or 5 other games comming out relitavly soon that will kick painkillers **** for multiplayer component.
ie: HL2, Stalker, MOH PA, brothers in arms etc etc.
By the way, what is the multiplayer component for Doom3 supposed to be. I havent read anything that describes it.

frosty, this thread is going to quickly turn into a flame fest, delete the last line of your post....
Painkiller has awesome single player, my mate and I have finished it on all the difficulty modes so we could get all the tarot cards so we could see the real ending.... I cant talk about multiplayer cause i havent even bothered. From what I hear it is tedious and slow...

Its VERY defintly worth buying.. the game owns.
However it may not be because its impossable to get anyoen to play it online

Just finished. Later maps are most amazing graphics I've ever seen Love it all the way to end. GOOD WORK DREAM CATCHER!!!!!!!!!
Did play MP deathmatch it was fun...but go for SP first. In the end it was awesome!!!!!!!

painkiller didnt really last i dont think, not many comps only the one @ ESWC, i dont think they marketed it very well.

I did not really like Painkiller, it was not a bad game, just not my taste.
