DarkLord who is probably the most annoying person in the world was hacking again today. He is a well known hacker in tfc, and now he hacks ns + abuses. He was also warned about useing the spec hack by game op's b4 the new patch, so me thinks he should be banned from ns, but it's up to the game op's and can i have some other people to back me up, if anyone saw him hacking etc.

melkor... people should not be judged on their abilities or actions in other games. you cant assume he hacks in ns because he did in tfc.

Although they exist already and no protection will ever find them, you will never prove a wallhack so dont try accusing him of that... hivesight/motiontracking is just like a wallhack...

as far as i know an aimbot doesnt yet exist for ns so dont bother accusing hm of that

speedcheats is about the only thing you could accuse him of... was he speeding? and theres a bug that makes marines go 2x faster than skulks with celerity so you cant even prove that hack.

i hate hackers... i support any banning of proven hackers... but you wont prove it... especially at this early stage of the development of the game

ok.. literally seconds after i posted a message came up in cogs chat saying the darklord was hacking in server 5... methinks itsw not hacking... he is just exploiting the hell out of bugs... thered a difference

and, i asked, and it is a bug, but i think it's more like a cheat concidering u need to do a damn lot to get it!

you basically go marine as alien. So u can turn into marine as alien and go around killing people :/

ok... so just as im about to post this last post the screenies come up with the alien kill and a hmg... so theres obviously a bug exploited right there.

and people are ***** left right and center about him... so theres enough proof to ban him... but its still not a hacker... tis an exploiter

It's good to see this kind of vigilance on the servers. However I think that stuff like this should be sent in to GA via Incident reporting or maybe to a gameop.

we'll thats an exploit why dotn u make servers if they type that command they get kicked or something ?.. and yes u get banned from all game arena half life and its mod servers

all cs and ausgamers server he should be banned from

he got banned by ADY but i saw him in a ns server afterwards (mostly abusing me and others including calling ADY something)

ps he was only using the nick "dark" at the time but the wonid is the same

I'm pretty sure it was a cheat rather than an exploit because he seemed to be able to get himself any weapon or piece of equipment he wanted, like he started flying around in a jetpack when the commander hadn't given any out...

But yes he is an ***** and should be banned. He claimed he was drunk but I think it was just his regular behaviour :S

and he was bragging about sending a trojan to ppl and stealing their half life cd keys

also building movement chamber son res points at the start of the game
and i caught him as a marine on the aliens team moving at super speeds

and all 3 times its the same number

and talking to ADY last night in a game of tribes2 apparantly the constant server crashes are the reason the ban didn't stick, but that is soon to change

why is that soon to change...? (just curious.)

Some guy called :^) used the same hack as darklord fortunately i got screenies of him and he got banned on teh spot. He said "He was jus testing it"

too many posts to read, put he does hack...

I was there the very first tme he exploited the spectator bug, and got up him (he was **** at me for weeks, every time he saw me he said i was cheating )

ANyway, since then i have seen him twice exploiting the bug where u r alien but look like human and have a gun.

After every time he always says He is sorry and he didnt mean to do it, and he wont do it again, then after everyone gets up him, he starts getting really ****....

Also, this isnt related, but can you have a different sig for different games (dod and ns)?

and, about what darklord said about he only did it for a day, he did it before i went on my 2 weeks holiday, i come back, and my 2 days back have been plagued by him....and he still remembers me from the first time i caught him, i love badmouthing him....

Had this misfortune to bump into him myself, he was on the alien side but looked like a marine, traveling at skulk speed. Shot me dead when he saw me. Why he would even bother logging on through COGS is a mystery to me, why not just get your jollies on a more public and less observed server community.

Assiain i was never angry at you. And i only did that for a day i never did it again.

What i want to know is that... if he's that bad.. why don't we just ban his GA account..? and if he's really bad... and he's got cable... ban his IP.
