As fun as making up new names is, I do miss the first season, which was a nice mix of Zombie appocolypse action and Days Of Our Undead. I have to trust in you guys to tell me when the show starts back on track again.

At first I enjoyed it... Character growth and conflict and what not. In the back of my head, however, I was always saying: "Any second now, they'll get back to the zombies." Then there was Telepathic Grandpa who always has his mouth open and his love interest I'm An Intolerable ***** To Everyone Now girl... And, I dunno, I found myself fast forwarding to the start of the next episode to catch the run down of the 'drama' of the last episode and being perfectly caught up with everything...
... I was a little surprised that the resolved the little girl story line like that. I didn't think they'd show that.

Triggerfinger (S2 Ep9) was a sign of returning to form - still too much talking and thinking and talking - but there was also running and screaming and shooting and running - so a slow return in the right direction lets see if they can keep it up

Well that's a post that's full or promise... Maybe I'll take a look on the weekend. Thanks, Bookz.

That's a solid point, but it's not much of a stretch... Unless you REALLY like Home And Away and CSI: Version XX

I saw it coming.
I think the ***** is more the daughter figure rather than the love interest.
It was my first thought as well, but then I thought: "Naw. TV shows might allow the child to be dead, but they'll never allow the heroes to shoot a child in the face... Thou, in the first episode?... Naw, done for impact! Couldn't happen twice!"
I stand corrected, however.

Ya reckon? You could be right, but I wouldn't be surprised if Physic Grandpa was offering his last ever errection to her.

in the comic they **** like bunnies, and don't try to hide the fact too much, dunno why they changed it for TV
Does the comic explain why Psychic Grandpa always has his mouth open? Is it because his mind reading powers require his brain to be constantly cooled by a flow of fresh air, else his head will overheat?

So I actually though the barn episode where the **** lets them out, was the final episode. Didn't realise there were six more to come.
Just finished watching. What the **** was with that outburst at the end from Rick? It's like he just downed a bottle of bourbon and his whole character changed. Can't we go a single episode without somebody going all spastic bipolar? All he had to say was "he snapped Randal's neck, led me out there, pointed a gun at me, said he was going to kill me, said my wife was broken and my son weak, and that he was a better father and was going to fix it for them, that they'd get over me, so when I was handing him my gun I stabbed him", and the others would have to be pricks not to understand. But nooooo he goes all taxi driver and now we're going to have more **** unecessary drama when they should just dedicate the new season to the chick with the samurai sword and pet zombies.
So they are all infected? Hasn't there been a character who slowly turned from a bite, or am I remember it wrong? And so if they're bitten, doesn't that mean it really doesn't make a difference? As in they have to actually die in order to turn?

When they are bitten the infection, as in bacterial infection kills them. When they die the virus which they all already have turns them into a zombie.

one of the mechanics of the comic is this exactly: that people under enormous strain can snap and change. The comic fleshes this out but the TV show is doing a poor job of showing it. In the comic Shane dies very fast like 3 or 4 comics in (before they even leave Atlanta) - because he just snaps.
Everyone has a breaking point even rick. Also even tho they might not snap completely they will be changed over time and become something different - rick is changing.
Michonne is good she uses a samurai sword for her in close work but that drawing is deceptive
cool ya tits pab my post wasnt in reference to if Michonne was hot.
The comment on her image from the comic you posted not being representative of what she will do/ be in the actual story but i made it vague because i not about to spoil it
that was actually a image from before she gets introduced as one of the main characters sort of like a "coming up later" bit that got put into the back of a comic after they had just done a main arc - there were a few xtra characters but a few comics later when she actually is in the story its all very different
I heard this show now has a black ninja who 'doesn't need nobody' with a katana who kicks ****...
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLolololololololol!

She isnt a "ninja" just a normal person who, when the outbreak happened, found a samurai sword in an abandoned house and now uses it.
I heard it from a friend who warned me about it, then I saw it when I watched the newer stuff the other night with him. She's a ninja... You can try and pretend she isn't a ninja character, running around, sneaking into and out of towns, always killing people with a single stroke, posing afterwards, always head down, looking away from the kill after a single stroke, never using a gun, doing perfect strikes with a hard, indifferent, 'I'm so hard core you have to love me' look on her face that makes me want to kick her in the **** it seems she so obviously has in there some place... But you'd be lying to yourself and everyone here.
Let's watch a little of it, shall we?
SPOILERS LIE BEYOND!
She finds the town is really keeping the undead! Why? What for?! What will happen!? Are there more!?... Ninja girl cares not! Looking smug and indifferent, she frees them and turns her back on them! Then she kills them with martial arts mastery and a vicious zoom in smirk! OH MY GAWD SHE'S SO HARDCORE... (No she isn't! This blows! Don't tell anyone. )
Watch her now, SHE'S SO AMAZING! Leaping from her hidden place in the trees... Not unlike? A Ninja! She kills 2 armed men while two other armed men, one of whom we know is a heartless killer, fail to do more then scratch her with a single bullet... FEAR HER NINJA SKILLS! YOU WISH YOU WERE HER! (No you don't, she's a horrid cliche. Be better!)
I don't know what she was like in the comics you read, but in the show she's nothing but a pathetic "Always kills everyone with a sword, super hardcore, also a girl OH MY GOD YOU NEVER SAW THAT COMING DID YOU!?" character. I wish I could tell you otherwise, but the show continues to disappoint.

i think i got up to ep6 watching an ep here and there off the net, got to ep 6: you know baby time (not how it happened in the comix) and its so hard to sit thru i haven't watched more so far
i want to like it but the "survival" horror is more like dayz where the z get in the way of humans rather then being the big threat
LOL, yeah, you summed that up well. I mean, I want human drama at the centre of my zombie appocolypse, but I don't want it to Over Shadow my zombie appocolypse. DayZ Of Our Undead isn't what I wanted.

hopefully the film adaptation of the excellent world war z novel (film due this year) will be what we want from a z flick (but its had issues i hear and was pushed back 6 months and parts of it re-shot/ written)
