Julia Gillards reign of terror seems to be finally over, the women who were so excited to see her become PM are now turning upon her,the visits to different electorates is seen as hollow self-serving marshmallow politics.
It is a pity really but not unexpected this is a valuable lesson that all woman should learn.
Woman should be seen but not heard and they should remain behind the light of the men who are the real movers and shakers in this world.
J Gillard says "Don't ask, "what i can do"! because i am fcn useless"
I don't want to vote for either because they're both **** idiots. It's **** when both political parties suck balls. You're just left voting for the party who sucks balls less. Because Tony is a straight male man. I'll have to vote for him.
Julia Gillard lied about the carbon tax and then brought it in. She's a lying stuck up big nosed ranga **** with no soul. I'd still prefer a churchy guy over her.
the greens made her do it but i think the carbon tax is a good idia it only affects big bisness and the revinew goes back to people being affected by the tax i havent noticed a difference

It doesn't stop pollution. The big businesses are always going to have pollution, now they're just being charged all this extra money because that's how their plants work. It's just made it even harder for them to go green because now their extra money is going towards a tax. They'll soon have to start charging extra to cover for the tax and bit by bit the extra charges will fall onto us. So prices go up and pollution stays the same. It's a flawed system.

Stupid downy. do you think "big bisness" is going to shoulder the price rise? This is what will happened. George's power company has to pay 1 billion extra in new taxes. George goes. " **** this. I am not going to let this tax cut into my profit." So george charges more for his power. Hence you pay more in power bills. The good news doesn't stop there. Because George also charges Larry the baker more for power. Larry says. " **** this, I am not going to let this new tax cut into my profit" So Larry charges more for his product. So you have to pay more for bread. The list goes on. So saying that the new guilard/greens tax only effect big business is a very stupid thing to say. The only group this tax doesn't effect is big buisness. A vote for guilard or labour is a vote for greens. You're picking up the tab for the new Green/labour tax. Not big "bisness"
the money the tax makes will be put into green projects and research
the gov just didnt want to foot the bill so this way big corps pay for green tech advances thru the tax
No they don't. We do. And will i be paid any type of royalty from this new tech my money is funding? No. Why is public money being used to fund private research? I say vote for labor or vote for liberal. But do not vote for greens. You only have to look at how they **** the country over when they only had power thru a by proxy role.

You are right some might be passed down - im happy to pay for what i want to buy and $50 or $55 isnt a big deal. Im not someone who buys a lot of useless stuff any way
but it has to start somewhere these advances in greener tech and this is the start of it
perhaps in time green tech will reach a point (+ other factors) where big business will see it as a +
we already know "eco" is a big brand and people will pay extra if they can see on the box it has less of a footprint
like i said better then the liberals plan
oh and the minority gov with the greens was the best and fairest gov we have had for decades

An extra $5 doesn't sound too bad i suppose. Pity it isn't just $5 eh champ? It amounts to hundreds a week and thousands over the year. If you're glad to see money spent on new tech for no return then go for it. Why should i be forced to invest in something that i will see no return in even if it is a success. But i suppose that what this green run government is all about. Forcing ppl. They hate to see ppl with a choice don't they? It scares them because oftheir insecurities. Anyway i would rather see a labour landslide than to continue to have the greens run the place. The trouble with them is that their little ideas sound good on paper. But in reality they just don't work.. Must be why ppl who avoid reality like the greens. And not some will be passed down. All of it will be passed down. Thats a fact

not perfect but better than the liberals idea
The big corps won't be paying for ****. We will. The cost is always passed down.
then the gov uses carbon tax $$ to compensate you
So in the end by your and the greens party logic. We have all this new tax for nothing? Pity they don't give it all back and those rebates.. Wont be around for ever. They will stick around just long enough for the **** storm caused by the new tax to die down.

95% of greenhouse gases are caused by natural pollution. There's also no proven link between carbon causing temperature rise. Temperature rise actually causes carbon levels to rise. Do your research and see if you still agree with the carbon tax. We got scammed and we couldn't even vote on it. It's corruption at it's finest. Al Gore's so called hockey stick graph is false. It actually should look more like a half pipe where years and years back temperatures were reaching the same as they are now.

lol so much cynicism... how much is the tax even costing anyone? **** that's what... the only reason anyone is still talking about it is because Tony Abbott is a big **** sook. Rudd won an election on his ets even though it never happened (**** i wish it did). At what point did we become so obsessed with money anyway? I give more money each week to charity than someone who earns 100k would pay towards extra power bills. Don't like it? well turn some **** lights off then ****!
The thing that is costing everyone money and raising power bills is **** ignorance. Why? because now power companies are able to get away with raising their prices as much as they want because they know everyone is going to rage at Gillard and not them or the state governments. After the next state election, the NSW govt is going to sell off the power poles. Does anyone focus on or care about this? no because they have no **** clue that it's even happening, let alone the fact that it will drive power bills far higher than the carbon tax ever will.
Gillard is copping the blame for everything and failing to stand up for herself like someone like Keating or Hawke would have. Abbott is a joke and a piece of **** stereotype from the 1920s. If Keating were still around, he would have sent him home crying in the first week. I've followed Abbott's **** political career for over a decade now and haven't been impressed by anything he has said. His only ambition is to spread his god ****, slash the public sector like ****, take away workers' rights and prop up big business while deep throating clive palmer's dirty ****.
Calling Gillard a liar is also wrong, since it was a condition of forming government in the first place. It's also a pointless thing to focus on for so many reasons. Firstly, the tax was always going to happen from the point the independents and greens were allowed to decide who would govern. Tony Abbott was running around behind the scenes practically begging people for support... he even said "I would do anything but sell my **** to win"
Even having said all that, does anyone think a landslide win is a good thing in politics? what is a party going to do for you if it doesn't have to work for your vote? sweet **** all.

The point I'm trying to raise is that the carbon tax is doing nothing to benefit us. It was still pushed through. I hate labour, I hate liberal and I hate the greens. They're all a bunch of stupid ****. I'm just left to vote for the one I think would **** the country up the least, not really on who is the best for our country. It's a **** up situation we're in.

Wait a minute. I think that guy just disproved global warming. And here is why. When he did the test. He put a globe and a thermometer into a jar. he then put a heat lamp over each of the jars. He then pumped one full of C o2. And the one full of C o2 had a huge rise in temp. Now. This sort of shoots a hole in the global warming theory in of two ways, or maybe two ways. 1. Why didn't the temp in the non C o2 flooded jar rise? or rise very slow. Wasn't the atmosphere the same as the earths? The very atmosphere that scienctist say has too much C o2 in it, thus causing massive rises in temp? Where was the rise beets? Where was the rise? 2. Did you see how much C o2 he had to pump into the jar to get a notable rise in temp? If that was the same raitio of oxygen to C o2 in the jar was the same as in the earths atmosphere. We would all be dead from C o2 poisoning. Why aren't we dead beets? Why aren't we dead? Wow man just wow. My brain is just awesome. Just imangine how smart i would be if i was educated..

I agree with that, but I think it's too early to say the tax will do nothing to benefit us.
I mean even if you don't believe in Global Warming, the rest of the world does so it's not a terrible idea to shift our economy towards Green tech as the rest of the world is doing before we get left behind.
I'm not quite sure why you don't believe in Global Warming. You mentioned the Hockey stick graph, but there is bad science everywhere. I mean, you don't dismiss physics just because there are bad physicists out there right?
I believe there is global warming, but it's caused by nature, not man made. I see it more as a cycle. We reach the peak and then it ramps back down again. We've had ice ages before. What caused those? I'd love to see more renewable energy being put to use, but taxing the **** out of people is the wrong answer. We've got solar panels on this house and a lot more people are going solar.
I've heard there's soon going to be technology to actually tile your roof with solar panels. I don't know a heap about it, it's new.

This is the first time I've ever strongly agreed with you.
The Greens are borderline retarded. I remember them saying that if they had their way in NSW then they wouldn't have built any motorways.
The fact that the party exists inside Australia disgusts me. The only reason we have anything in this country is because of our natural resources, and here we have a party seemingly dedicated to our search for poverty.
In my humble opinion, when you live inside one of the most resources-dependent economies in the world, if you really want to **** everyone about being Green then you should build a sailing boat out of recycled plastic and sail overseas (and preferably drown on the way).
The point I'm trying to raise is that the carbon tax is doing nothing to benefit us. It was still pushed through. I hate labour, I hate liberal and I hate the greens. The carbon tax is **** policy designed to give the public the impression that politicians care about the climate.
It's not as bad as 'big business' makes it out to be, but it's a trivial effort at best.
The Deputy PM of NZ (who beat Australia in introducing carbon tax policy) said it best - they passed carbon policy in NZ to 'prevent the perceived need for more... radical measures'.
I can't quote a source because I heard this in person, at a very small economic forum that took place in Sydney 2 years ago.
The only reason we have anything in this country is because of our natural resources
Yeah and the only thing people should care about is how much money we can make exporting those resources. **** the environment so long as the budget is in surplus. After all who gives a **** if a few species here and there go extinct; it's not like I'm going to be affected by it.
