Sugar water is really expensive these days

red bull and V i drink a lot and holy ****... i feel guilty when i have 2 teaspoons of sugar in a coffee but god damn, 5-10 teaspoons in red bull!?

Everything has sugar in it now. as a rule of thumb, any drink that is in a bottle has a minimum of 20g of sugar per 100ml, with 30g being average.

Well fosters is the worst of the beers. It gets exported for a reason. Coopers is the the 2nd worse beer to me. It makes me sick just drinking it, I want to get drunk when I drink it so I forget I'm drinking it. tooheys is the worst overall and its cheap. So the nightmare with Tooheys is that Every Telstra Event was always loaded with it as the "free beer" that was part of free beer, wine and soft drink, so basically every event costs money like xmas party because we'd just buy our own drinkable filth not the crap Telstra wanted to save like 20 cents per glass. ****.

The problem I have with Tooheys is it doesnt go well with much. Its very **** to taste, beer doesnt taste the best to begin with but a hot day beers tend to go down smooth no matter what except for tooheys and coopers. that **** makes me bloat. The next days usually a squirt fest for a few hours until my liver decides its had enough with revenge. I drank alot of beers in my day even some wierd **** up named pale ales and ****. But these 2 just make me sick rest are fine.

Hell I'd rather drink a light beer then these **** and thats like pointless. My uncle used to drink XXXX gold. Its a light, it was free. I drank it all day he got cut because he come home from his truck driving **** and there was like 4 slabs gone. So he got more. But until he got some heavy stuff I was stuck for that.

But anyway I'm going off tangent. I will add that I drank crownies and went out where a bunch of my friends hockey team was. They said "how can you afford to drink that your on the dole" and I just said because i'm not some *** clown spending money on stupid **** like some fat slag. and he got butthurt. If I had to recommend a beer I'd refuse it depends on weather and mood. My friend got me drinking heineken on a hot day after work socially it was good, didnt bloat or become sick from it. My friends took me to a bar in central station in sydney just before xmas when i went on weekend road trip. The tap beers I just looked at the bar keep and said "do you sell beer" and he pointed at the taps. I just said "oh I guess not"

No. I have taste. those **** beers are really the only thing that can send me over the edge and makes me feel bloated when i drink it. the other beers on the market...never had a problem.

Coopers isn't a **** beer. It doesn't have any of the additives/preservatives that bogan beers like tooheys, XXXX, and VB have, so people who get hangovers don't have to worry about it so much. There's a reason why it has a "best after" date as opposed to a "best before".

Not a huge fan of pale ale, but the sparkling is great, and the vintage is amazing.

I've been on their Coopers Brewery Tour. Have a tasting at the end, went through about 8 glasses of their stuff.

They have a three hole golf course outside the factory as well.



That has more sugar in it than the Mountain Dew.

I'm not a huge drinker, especially beer, but I don't mind Extra Drys or even New on occasion.

Lately I've been drinking One Fifty Lashes at home, as it's like a cleaner Coopers Pale which makes it easier to chain drink. $50 a carton makes it an easy choice too.

I get the biggest hangovers off TEDs.

OFL is good, but it's pretty weak.

Yeahhhhh it's sub 5%, but it's clean enough that I can drink 4000 more of them.

We were drinking this 8% Duvel the other day - the day after I had a shocker of a hangover. It was a pretty nice beer, once you kicked past the first glass.

Tooheys extra dry are an alright beer for the price. You're paying around 40 for a cold carton. I normally drink Carlton Dry because it's an easy drinking beer without the bloat. I can't control my burps so drinking gassy beers causes gas to be trapped inside me for ages. Coronas are nice for a decent price. I actually don't mind VB's, I think they're too expensive for what they are though. You pay around the same price you'd pay for a corona just too look like a bogan.

As for energy drinks, I only drink them if it's on the weekend mixed with vodka, and even then it's only one or two. I used to fiend them drink two or three 500ml cans a day. Now I just have one or two cups of coffee with one sugar.

I'm 20 days into a month of abstinence.

amazing how much weight u gain when u drink alot of booze. its all just toxins and fluid retention and the body working too hard to process.

When i dont drink for a week its a great feeling but so boring ;(

Agree with the boring part, but my body feels good as right now. Also the first weekend in a while I haven't smoked any green. I only ever do it if I've been drinking.


Carlton dry is low carb beer. I'd normally just buy a carton and only try to drink it on weekends, not much point drinking during the week. I used to drink every night.

Yeah same. Never put on or lost weight tho, drinking or not drinking. Stable at 81kgs.

I struggle to put on weight no matter what I do. 63kgs at the moment :/

I eat plenty, I lift plenty, and I'm back on the mass bulk again. Gains is a mother **** when your metabolism is quicker than Flash Gordon.

You don't need any of that gimmicky ****, you just have to stick at it for a few months without slacking off, and gotta eat healthy food (lotsa vegies, salad rolls, not too much red meat. That protein **** just clogs up your bowels. It's like powdered dog **** plus glue and sold at $100p/kg).

At 17 I was relatively slight, but I started working as a brickies labourer and after a few months I could lift most people over my head... could probably throw vman about 10 meters tbh.

The only problem is, unless you keep up the pace or stop eating altogether, it's easy to become overweight. And don't use wii fit. Stupid game kept telling me I was fat (5'11", around 90kgs, physique of the roman gods).

Sparkling ale is good but getting **** on it is a sure way of having a **** next day.
