Good call. So thus far our plan is:

1) Either write a recognised book or get a university degree in creative lit.
2) Get an entry level position in the game industry
3) From entry level take an oppertunity to show case your creative talent and become a story/character writer

Hmmm... I could prolly get an adult degree in creative lit. The next step is to figure out how to get an entry level position in the game industry. It seems like every path leads towards learning some programming or another. Just have to bite that bullet and do it, I guess.

School Network Administrators get less than $20 phr at every single Public school in Australia.
Not to mention I have never ever heard of a school that has an IT technician who is not also an IT teacher. It's unheard of, mainly because their is no way you have more than a single days work to complete per week.

5. play an mmo or rgp for 6 months or until some of the quest lines and dialogue inspire you to submit something to the devs.

Flat out doing what? The only time it ever gets busy is when you have to change all the old machines to the newer ones that the government sends out. All of which are pre-built and 100% identical. If any machine has any issue whatsoever you ghost the hdd from the server. If it still isnt working you pull it out and send it away/it gets picked up and fixed. Say you have to install the latest Office program on 200 machines, you just ghost the entire network grid (usually labled after the building block letter/number.)

I seriously can't work out how the hell you are getting more than 10hrs a week. It makes no sense at all.

Do they make you paint the walls and mow the grass as part of your job?

A school with only 600 students, that has more than 400 Computers, 200 of which are notebooks along with other tablet computing devices. That is a government school, in Western Australia.

-The PC per student ratio is way off. How did this happen, who the hell authorised it and why is your school getting more than some of the best Private schools in the country?

-If you are the computer guy at the school, who the hell teaches the computer classes to the students?

-Laptops for every student is complete and utter ****. Public schools only use them for special needs students and when a PC is needed but not readily available. Once again, why is the school you're working at, receiving the combined yearly IT allowance for your entire state, all to itself?

-Have I mentioned how tight the government is on IT departments at schools, tafes, government departments and so on? Your school has better equipment than TAFEs, Centrelink and Medicare.

-Australian government is extremely strict on wasting money at schools. This is why you don't have 200 and counting Notebook PCs. They are costly to maintain and fragile compared to Desktop PC units.

I would love to find out where you are working so I can complain to the Government in an e-mail, asking why they are not only wasting huge amounts of Tax Money, but also singling out a single school while others are still on W2KPro with barely usable Mouse and Keyboards with CRT Monitors.

Now I know you are full of **** **** and all of this is made up. Do you even have a job at all? If you do, is it flipping burgers at McDonalds?

You can take a picture and it is not a breach of your contract.

macbooks? Even more expensive.

Drawings seem to need a lot more accuracy for them to work. The arrows are now a lot harder to draw without getting wrong. I'll keep practicing though, I've still been unable to get past the first level. It might be a good idea to ask if the player wants to submit a highscore after the game, also would be good to have a score somewhere in the corner during game.

Also found a bug where if you tap up the top left corner near or on the silver star it puts you back to the start of the game. Another cool feature would to be to have a pause button somewhere as well.

No problem :) I've now completed the first level. Loved the boss fight, I was hoping for something like that. Very impressed with the updates already. Could have boss fights where objects are fired/launched at you and you have to draw to deflect them from hitting you.

Let's get this thread back on track... I playe Dark Souls again last night. I hear people saying the Drake Sword sucks, but despite pushing a few other weapons to +10, I still haven't found a better weapon. Is it becauseI'm only Strength 26?

Running smoother than ever. Had a strange bug just before the railway crossing on an enemy who pops his head down from the veranda/gazebo thing. It showed it as a line that just looked like \ and I kept trying to draw it but it wouldn't work. Got shot 3 times and then started spamming lines until one finally worked. There also seems to be strange red circles above the enemies heads now which obscure vision of the drawings a bit. They're also just floating around random parts of the map.
