I'm kind of affected as my work 2 km's down the road has gone under as well as most roads around me but because I'm on a hill it wont flood my house and I'm lucky enough to still have power as well.

I woke up this morning and the power was out. I was boiling water for my morning coffee in a pot on the gas stove, and it was close to boiling when the power came back on, so I quickly put the kettle on to see which one would boil first. The kettle got there just before the pot. It was pretty terrifying, but at the same time quite exciting.

It's nice to visit but it wears off real quick, the better parts are the coastline west of Adelaide and I would not live there.

I'm going to be affected. There's probably gonna be another $50 charge slapped onto my tax again. Fix your drainage systems aye, you had two years.

It rained alot, not as much as last time.I was in Brissy on monday, It wasn't that bad and was handled better this time.
The main problem is that the media has grossly overexaggerated and over hyped the whole thing.
The whole what's this going to cost me? thing is **** petty and un-Australian.

Nah I'm just **** off that they took $50 off me and they still haven't done anything with the money to stop it happening again. It's like parking inspectors. I got a $45 fine on the weekend for parking behind 6 other cars also parked on a foot path because they can't provide enough parking by Moore River. They've had the problem for the 8 years or longer I've been going there. What the **** is the council doing with every $45 they gain from their **** head, no hope, **** off parking inspectors? Why can't they put some of that money into making a bigger carpark?

These are the thoughts that keep me up at night.
