this is a great thread. having really high standards is probably a symptom of being a bit scared of rewting. You are scared to go through the whole process so you make your standards impossibly high and sabotage yourself from teh start.
You just need to get a bit more confidence. Like I said, you've got to be on the look out at all times. believe it or not, there are millions of girls looking for a bf out there. they are all around you. Youve just got to start focusing on getting one. make it your primary focus at all times and start taking actions. start talking to lots of girls and if the conversation goes well, just say, "would you be interested in going on a date". even the girl at the checkouts...
or you could always try internet dating. You would stand out like a male model at a lan party compared to all the fat old bald losers that would fill those sites.

I have had some VERY fine women I met online... VERY fine. Some of them, I would say, were well out of my depth. There was this German chick, oh my GOD! And she was into EVERYTHING! She was... Just... Yeah, anyway.
The thing is, once you've drawn a womans attention online, spoken to her, befriended her, talked about things most intimate, and even done some dirty talk via text and voice, many of them turn out to be more than willing to take someone who would normally be a big pass for them because they are actually charmed and drawn in by your voice, imagination, creativity, wit and charisma. You know how women always lie to your face and say 'looks don't matter'? It's more true once they are seduced before even meeting you.
When it comes to beautifully worded, flowery, seductive creativity, charisma and charm, you're still plumb outta luck, BLT. Looking at what you write here on these forums, any woman you met online would need to have been struck by a second baby via a sling shot at birth to give anything you've written the time of day. I think you'll find a browser that does autocorrect would do wonders for you mate. or just type stuff into word/outlook, correct the incorrect words and copy it into the browser before pressing send.
at the very least do it for us b-man. This whole forum is emotionally involved in you getting your end in. If you sign up for online dating and provide daily updates, you'd have a bigger audience than the Oprah interview with Lance Armstrong. I'm sure you could even crowd source the dating site fees.

ive only met one girl in RL that i met online 1st - we were both in melbourne so arranged to meet at a nice little bar went to some other nice bars chatting and getting along a few drinks. She was a russian girl a little crazy but good looking so we ended up in my bed and after that repeating that night a few other nights too
it was a positive experience for a bit of fun so dont be put off from at least trying it
