well atm its $100 for a really good plan and i dont think it will be more then that with the NBN - but who knows. What i can tell you is that paying $100 AU anywhere in the world is expensive for the net we can get for $100 in AU

road works (really it's digging up the sidewalk and installing something) is slowly making it's way up my street. I'm a bit excited but havent noticed any of those big long orange pipes they usually install for the fibers... can only hope.

Joaby would try play it cool "you losers getting excited over nothing", cheroba doesn't know much about consoles i think so he would probably say some thing like "i'd rather lick badger knee caps than buy some **** box" then nings would undulate his magic pelvis, crotching an invisible wall of consoles saying "poo yeah! poo yeah!" then dig an imaginary grave for every console ever made

I like playing PC games on my desk, because I have the freedom of not having everything on a massive TV out in the open for everyone to see when I alt tab to facebook.

Lets talk new tech gadgets Tiny laser projection system to control Project Glass Quote: A virtual touchpad projected onto limbs and other everyday surfaces? That's the type of crazy idea we'd normally expect to see from Microsoft Research, not Google. Heck, maybe we even did, but Google is now applying to patent the concept specifically in relation to Project Glass. The system would use a tiny laser projector mounted on the arm of the spectacles to beam out QWERTY and other buttons, and then the built-in camera and processor would try to interpret finger movements in the region of those buttons. Hey presto! No more fiddling with your face.
