Hey everyone, I was looking around for the most recent thread about this and found that, correct me if I'm wrong, the last thread was made around 8 June/July 2012, so I made this thread. Anyway, I was wondering how two endlessly popular multiplayer games, DayZ and Minecraft, have been excluded from the (awesome, helpful, best-ever, amazing, fun) GameArena unmetered servers? From what I've read, you guys are having problems getting the servers up and so are focussing on more pressing matters or something like that. Could you at least give us a detailed explanation as to why so that we can understand?

P.S. If there's already a thread/post/comment that would answer this, feel free to point it out and laugh at my oversight.

Game Arena can only host stuff that the game devs allow,don't be put of by that though just spam joaby's inbox until you succeed.

Iff your metered then that's a problem, still you keep up the sucky sucky lick toes praising G.A and who knows what will happen.

Minecraft is being worked on.

DayZ was awful (hacks, no control of the server and they refused us the right to run more than 1 server) but we intend to revisit the issue when the standalone game is released.

No you went wrong by hosting a Official hive server.

I will pm you regarding hosting of a GA private hive & and also DayZ+ if you want to host that.
and at-least with your own GA hive you can have FULL CONTROL over everything

How stable is DayZ at the moment. I'm still upset I bought Arma 2 only to be really dissappointed by it. It was about 2 months ago I played though. Not even sure what servers are good anymore :/

its very stable atm IMO and the 1.7.5 patch is on the horizon, we are just waiting for the a ok from rocket.

Some people think cats can exist on a vegan diet - like rice, seaweed, and some special non animal product cat food. Some companies even advertise to vegans etc that they can feed their cat a vegan diet and as vegans are silly they go along with it because they want to push their **** idea's on everyone.

Unfortunately cats lack specific metabolic (enzymatic) pathways and cannot utilize plant proteins as efficiently (or at all) as animal proteins. Cats are carnivores in the strict sense unlike humans or dogs.

For example a rat carcass has a 55% protein count while a tin of cat food has 45.2% but the rat carcass has vital nutrients that basic cat tinned food doesn't, like iron and zinc, which means that cats that are not allowed to hunt (ie. locked in house cats) are pretty much ****

Unfortunately for the local possum population my cat is an excellent hunter.

In Melbourne, in an inner suburb, so my cat has a pretty much full time job as a rat catcher. Every couple of days a rat will be trotted in and showed off.

And so i have a pretty much full time job as a "person who cleans up rat guts and left over rat gibbets from the carpets, floors and rugs".

Its all pretty disgusting.

We've got an indoor cat. It's about 7 years old. Healthy as ****.

A cats diet is pretty important as they are strict carnivores.

Many unhealthy signs of disease (from having a lacking diet) will be hidden away for a long time (like in humans) and then suddenly appear.

Many cats get to 9 10 or 11 years old then suddenly get a disease and die while on a healthy diet a cat can easily get to 16.

For example too much "dry food" (ie. biskets) and generic (whiskers/ dine etc) can food doesn't have all the stuff a cats natural food source (rodents small birds etc) have no matter what the tin food manufacturer puts on the tin (ie. "Diet cat food" or "Diet supplement cat food").

It was actually caused by vegetarians throwing their night soil out the window because their was no meat in the dark ages.

Only if you feed them **** brand tinned food. If you feed them a mixture of good quality dry and wet food, with the odd raw chicken wing thrown in, it more than meets their nutritional requirements.

Letting your cat hunt wild rats and mice is a good way to have them end up either with a disease like leptospirosis, which is zoonotic, or infections from a bite or scratch. You also run the risk of them eating a rat that's been poisoned (much easier to catch a sluggish and sickly rat), and it's quite a sight to see a cat that's been dead for half a day cut open, with blood from the massive internal haemorrhaging pouring out of their guts like water because of the anticoagulants. They also ingest cumulative toxins and other crap, as rats living in the city or burbs generally don't have the healthiest diet, so cats that regularly eat them will almost always end up with kidney problems later in life.

tl;dr If you really care about your cat's health and well-being, it's irresponsible and ill-advised to let them eat wild rodents.

Last time i had a chat with Teddy the Tabby cat he was like **** you and your "no eating the mices"

Put a bell on him (though they find ways to compensate, so you have to change up the bell type occasionally), and restrict the amount of time he's allowed out to hunt. Your pet, your responsibility I guess. Maybe you could get some advice from your vet on how to handle it?

not much you can do other than put a bell on an outdoor cat and they still get stuff anyway, mum just keeps her cat indoor, it hates outside

Unfortunately there is this big black and white cat that must come from somewhere in the area who kept picking fights with our little tabby. The Big black and white one hasnt got a bell on so we cant put a bell on our tabby or it gets beat up due to the unfair advantage the other cat has.

A few nights here and there i need to go out and break up a fight - the black and white big cat is a bully and is invading our cats territory right up to just outside the back gate some nights. The little ****
