The reason I joined TR was because most of GA were originally TR. Now it seems everyones joined NC. I don't know if I should change now, or just beat you all.
I'm trying to play it and I managed to get in the first time and had a life but then when it started loading it sat on 98% and refused to budge, it's since done that every time I've loaded. Any ideas?
but really these ppl with lots of dif names cant u just keep one it makes it hard on the rest of us monoalias types ;(
try uninstall and remove old versions of the games files like run a reg cleaner and ccleaner for old files etc then after its all gone from everywhere try again?

i was on late last night till the server shutdown at about 3am
the x2 xp weekend was a good weekend for me to start but from what i can gather the cert points now will go very slow if u are not a paid up member or booster
I was playing earlier yesterday. We conquered one continent so went to another that had much less NC population but we ended but capping that whole continent too. I was flabbergasted!

pub games always has its fair share but you don't expect a squad leader and with 3 platoons under his command to be that ****
Also some ppl dont seem to understand that defense (and thus territory strategy) isn't what most guys are playing for. Most guys seem to only want to attack and take territory to get the big bonus XP awards for capture - dont know how many times ive been in a squad and the squad leader is like wow thats strange no one here defending and then its "u just captured the point caaaching xp" and suddenly the entire enemy army attacks and the same squad leader is like "wow thats strange the entire enemy army suddenly wants this land i wonder why duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh *drools on pillow*"
actually i think the game might stress me out a little
TOG has claimed The Crown on Indar - the most difficult position to assault in the whole game! We'll camp up there fairly often, even when losing every other territory, just absorbing the ebb and flow of enemy soldiers pointlessly throwing themselves at our defences. Even bad players log out with a 5 to 1 k/d! Maybe it's just how we roll, but we do defend a lot - in fact, I prefer it because that's where all the infantry action happens. I'll send an invite next time but we use TS over in-game.
I can understand why ud want to use TS as the in game VOIP has too many ppl who dont know how to set up a mic and so sound like slightly aggressive mating walrus bull seals
clowns playing music in proximity all the time were really **** me off, but it turns out you can close individual chanels in the useroptions.ini in the install dir.
i was squad leader of a NC platoon and played until about 11am - we held the crown for all that time, even tho cut off, until we got bored because neither the TR or the other bastards would come get us
oh i didnt see any thing saying "you have a message?" i have that annoying k thing on my screen all the time cause some outfit or another is always sending invites so i just ignore it
yeah we took the crown a couple of days ago and its still NC (well was at 6am today) but its been pushed hard and cut off a number of times.
Like most free pub games there are hackers and buttheads.
I had my sunderer deployed inside at the crown and some "friendly" **** spawned his sunderer but then saw that mine was deployed. Did he drive off or just leave his there as the back up? Nope he jumped on his guns turrets and shot my sunderer until he blew mine up. Then he deployed his.
I must point out that he obviously did it for a few lousy xp. If u have a sunderer deployed u get a couple xp every time someone spawns in using it. So 100 players spawn u get about 100xp. I get 100xp per heal or kill its like 1000xp a min in a fast paced battle.
So I wasnt cranky he "took my xp" just that it was a **** move to pull on a teammates vehicle.
Smart squads don't waste their time with the crown. It's just fun for a battle nothing more. We just hit up the spots away from it. Took over 50% of the continent. Good times.
it's becoming a hot spot for sure. Hvaen't been off indar much at all recently, and Amerish I've barely touched even though the lush green is my favorite and I'm really hoping to meet a ewok.
to attack the crown we'll usually drop 3 galaxy loads right on top, then straight away take down the enemy sundie, and try and block the spawn point for long enough. It takes a fair bit of organisation, but it certainly works better than sitting down the hill, waiting for enemies to pop their heads over the ledges.
the prob with the crown is if your team holds it then u can forget about the rest of the map as usually too many are up there defending it while the other 2 factions conquer everything
tho i have been on the crown defending as NC to almost be overrun by TR, i mean they are right up there pushing over the last bit and on top with caps points taken and starting to get a vice on the spawn then suddenly there is a slowing in the TR attack and then you see the VS roll up behind the TR smashing them in the side and back and so saving the crown for NC.
