I got banned Might play chivalry instead. Chivalry is good, but it's frustrating when you're about to win a 1v1 and some other douche comes in and kills you and the other guy in one sly swing.
Got banned from roleplay on garrys mod. Walked into a gun shop, two cops followed me in. I was like "Give me some drugs ****"
The guy's like "I don't have drugs, this is a gun shop and there's two officers right next to you now leave"
So I replied "Listen **** head, every hommie knows a guy packing a piece is slinging drugs to the kids so hook us up"
Then the cops started beating the crap out of me with their battons until I left the shop.
Then I walked up to another cop and I was like "Yo sell me some drugs bro"
Then I was thrown in prison, left there to rot. The cop rocked up to my cell, a smug grin across his face. He requested a 200 dollar bribe. I had no idea how to pay bribes but I wanted to seem experienced so I told him I only wanted panadol because I have a terrible headache. He dropped the bribe to 100. I said "Did you get it" he looked around in a circle and then replied "nope" I was like "yeah it's invisible **** head, I don't pay corrupt cops"
He walked out of the station so I spawned a prop above my head and it fell on me and killed me. I spawned out of prison and spawned the letters 'f' 'u' and 'k' and put them on the gun owners store. I then blocked some other guys store with a prop. I was suddenly surrounded by feds each looking mad. The gun shop owners like "Remove it" I was like **** off give me my panadol you ****. Then suddenly I was trapped in a cage then banned
It's fun, but it's not something you can play for any long stretch of time.
My main issues with it were mainly around the feeling you're not really accomplishing anything during your time in the game. There's no real visual indicators telling me how much XP or whatever it's called, I've earned for killing him, or conquering this.
Jung's 5 " Floppy pretty much covered the main gripes. I've heard they are working with the community to resolve these sorts of problems. I haven't looked into it myself but that in itself is promising.
I started playing it last night and rather enjoyed it. The game has a fair of a learning curve as there is a lot going on at any one time and quite a number of options for the player in regards to spawn location and kit selection.
I could see how this game would be especially fun for a group of 5-6 friends to deviate from the typical front line and start a conflict somewhere else.
Perhaps I just haven't come across it yet but the thing it seems to be lacking for me personally is something on the small scale. Areas designed for smaller scale combat with a cap per faction of how many can participate in a given event.
Games often seem to have that little flaw in them. You get things for a kill, but if you're the kind of strategic, thoughtful, team player person who stands and defends the capped point you get a pittance compared to the rush of players racing to their deaths in the middle.

some fights last for hours so the points for capping become pretty insignificant. Plus players do tend to end up focusing on single points because that's where the spawns and action are.
Plus bigger bases have shield generators that defending engies get points for repairing and if you fight someone off after they begin to cap, you get points also.
had a few hard crashes but tryed it out. its hurting my system, which does need an upgrade.. i remember ps1. its good to relive the awesomeness of 1999 again. are the us servers much different lag wise to the "au" server? im starting to think briggs is just a renamed west coast server it behaves like one.
that's typical mmo stuff - they always let on just a few more players than they should. But the hit rego in this game is surprisingly good, nontheless.
playing with 70 odd guys from tog on TS is fantastic. Can't get enough!
SO ive played up to rank 14 and its slow grinding for certs ur lucky to get 500ish in one nights decent playing. Considering a gun is 1000 certs that is a lot of grind.
Ive noticed u can pay to get boosts and members packs - that increases things like xp. Anyone have that? Worth it / not worth it?
So far i like: the game world and the factions and i like the fact its cap points and multi layered attack stuff to get an obj down and that there is lots of balance between land/ air and infantry play. Guns seem ok (the one ive been using which is a Gauss rifle with and without attachments).
What i dont like is: lag - not really bad but some to be a little annoying but in a shooter its vital that lag not exist and thats why we play on an Aust server right?
I dont like the weapon spread - its **** horrible - but maybe thats the NC starting medics weapon? In a shooter i like to put my x-hair over something and know the bullets going to hit exactly where im aiming (accounting for bullet drop is ok accounting for random lag and random massive spread not ok).
There is some of the spray and pray at work to help the noobs im thinking. Needs a promod or do i just need to get a better gun/ learn to shoot?
Some of the objs have choke points that are far too much resulting in a meat grinder for an hour like the biolab way up high that u need to push from the nth or sth thru two pretty small doors. After an hour of fighting at the same location i think its not so much someone wins its enuf ppl got bored and logged that one team won.
Overall a good game that fills a gap in the FPS genre we have atm and it looks like with work it could be a gg
I think the Gauss Rifle is probably going to be the best you can get, but I haven't taken a good look. There's a few shotties and I, amongst many others, have been sucked in to buying the piston. Don't do it.
Like all shooters these days, the bulletspread sucks, but still better than bf3. Plus the movement is faster. This is the first game I've played in a long time where it's possible to go toe-to-toe with people on a regular basis - Rambo Medic mpitching to victory!
there are 3 variants on the Gauss rifle. The one u get free then one that is burst mode then one that is both modes selectable. I was going to try out the selectable one that swaps between burst modes.
Its a bit retarded that they want you to pay 1000 certs to buy a gun that u have no idea that is any good or not apart from some guys say it is or u got killed by it a lot on some bad dude.

I dropped 20 dollars on it but have stopped playing coz most other people have stopped playing and the team immunity guys don't communicate often enough.
I'm KullLives NC on Briggs. Apparently there is a feature where you can try guns for free for half an hour. Haven't used it myself though. Hate the purple chumps. Their default auto-pistol is ridiculous.
