I pre-ordered this around the middle of 2011 lol. Admittedly it was because I was trading in some old xbox stuff at EB to pay for BF3, and got more for it then I thought I would. Got DX:HR as well.

got farcry 2 and while it looked great the MP was unbalanced and dedicated servers meant the hosts gave themselves the best everything and kicked anyone who was better then them. MP was fun but it just became unplayable because of the issues
SP was a disaster with bad AI and crazy respawn enemies - go thru check point kill all enemies drive out of sight turn around and same check point all enemies respawn wtf? and even worse "must drive the whole way across the map" every fricken mission and thats 30 mins of just time wastage. Open world is nice but you want some kind of structure

I got my free ...........  And i too am getting FC3 with bears, tigers, magic mushrooms, hang-gliders,exploding barrels and cars to drive who could ask for more? And comparing the different Far Cry's is not really possible since the only thing all 3 have in common is hang gliders.

I have to say i think fc3 looks a heap better than fc2 all over, and will be hosting 2 dedicated servers with my hybrid fiber optic cable 100MBPS X 8MBPS which used to host 54 players on red orchastra 2 no probs.
Just dont go back to silly moron servers that waist your time, as i think this version will have heaps more servers.
The only thing missing in the insaine pack is a blow up doll.
I wonder if we can import stuff into the map editor as i have lots of 3dmodels and stuff lol.

what does host dedicated servers from home mean? people rent off ISPs or they actually use their own upload bandwidth?
