Joaby gave it a bit of a slam... Am I the only one who expected you to be able to, in the end, unlock humans returning to the surface and for there to be an actual story and interactive role playing experince?

... Maybe I live in an optimistic fantasy world.

Yes, well...

Either way, I dunno. I wouldn't pay much for a game where you get to play an Elk taking on the difficult role of being an Elk. I really figured that, what Joaby had seen in his E3 preview, would end up being some kinda teaser that leads to a larger, more in depth story about humanity struggling to return to a world that had become wild and untamed and having to decide if or not to live like animals themselves or to strive to recreate the world they had left behind.

... But, I guess pee'ing on lamp posts to mark your territory is cool too?

for mobile devices with touch screen metro would be good but for a PC its terrible as it is now - that guy summed it up in another clip where apple didnt try to put osx10 onto their ipads phones etc but micosoft is trying to do both with one OS which is stupid

More like Tokyo Bungle, am I right?

I don't care that it's a disappointment, it's not on PC anyway.

W8 interface is for touch screen laptops, a PC user simply reverts it back to Windows Desktop.

Yeah, the rigidity of the way the game delivers such a promising idea was my chief complaint. I don't think I slammed it though.

Maybe "Slammed" was too strong a word, but you weren't a very tender lover...

... Oh, wait, the game review?? Yeah, fair call.

It's such a shame that an original, interesting, new idea like this went down that kind of path and didn't offer up what could have been a bounty of brilliant inovation. Me? I blame the Terrorists, by which I mean the game designers.
