I remember when I was maybe 17 or 18, talking my flatmate into watching Baraka after we had smoked a few, and though he considered himself a fairly learned and worldly guy, when it got to that scene he absolutely freaked out. He stood up with his hands on his head, a look of sheer terror on his face, and said "What the **** is this? What's going on? Why are they doing that?" etc etc. He had never seen anything like it before, and couldn't fathom the idea of such a ritual, or people behaving in such a way. I absolutely **** myself.

It sounds awsome on decent HI FI.
