Eve looks extremely time consuming and heavily based on luck. Then to make it worse, you can lose everything that you just earned with your many hours spent and rare luck streaks.

It's like building a glass mansion by hand, in a Cyclone region.

Being scammed isn't about luck at all. It's about you being a too stupid to realise, or too lazy to read. The luck part only applies if you're always lazy + stupid and you happen to get away with it.

There are a multitude of tools to keep save in Eve, it's your own fault if you lose your ****.

One guy lost 72 PLEX cards, which are worth $20 each. Over $1400 of assets gone because he was stupid. And that's only a minor event. A 10,000 man alliance was broken because of the actions of one guy. Not only did they lose their alliance, but their sovereignty, and everything the 10,000 people built up over a period of 5 years.

Everyone except you, Xeper, and Bielt have lost their virginity. Everyone here already knows the story of gamers not getting any is perpetuated by social failures such as yourself as a defense mechanism.

Yeah, most gamers have had sex. With gigantic fat whales without jobs. You would know all about that.

Most of the guys get much better, and the woman doesn't douse herself in fuel to stay cool either There is a difference.

Some 'girl' from this Blendr app tried to scam me. At least I think so. She tells me she works for an adult webcam website, I think, ah yeah sweet, so she likes to get naked all the time, nothing wrong with that. Then she's like before we meet though, I'll give you a free pass and you can see me on cam. Cool no worries, sounds good. She sends me the website, I paste the website into Google, it's rated 1/5 stars for safety and has a lot of reviews from people saying they were scammed.

I just can't believe anyone would fall for it. Apparently even for the free pass, they ask for a credit card number for proof of age. Hahaha. What a crack up.

Gotta give what's given. 3/10 has always been a ball of hate but as they say: once you hate someone, every little thing they do bothers you.

Because when you don't have any cash, going out is pointless. It's part of the reason I was in such a **** mood on saturday night. Then my mates didn't even invite me out on Sunday night when they went to a party because they know I'm poor as **** haha.

Hahahaha, saw this many years ago, bloody hilarious.

I drove to centrelink today to try and get some assistance finding an apprenticeship, but the line was literally out the door onto the footpath. The car parks were all full and I parked in a one hour paid parking zone and spotted parking inspectors so after waiting 10 minutes and the line not moving I bailed. Going to get there before it opens on wednesday morning. Can't go in tomorrow because I have **** tafe...

Circumventing trditional job seeking methods, I would imagine, will display traits that employers are looking for. Are there any companies that you WANT to work for. If you explain to a potential employer that you want to work for them because you have respect for their business practises, you may be able to make a connection that dozens of crappy black and white text resume's cant achieve.

I guess If I had to go get a job I would walk straight into the front door of a company that I am impressed with and tell them why I want to work for them. Persistence and determination will pay off eventually. Just be honest. Your resume cant do that kind of talking.

It just sounds like you are sitting and waiting for them to call you. Maybe your experience and credentials are not outstanding enough to be noticed.

A lot of the places I apply for are through employment agencies. So no details of the actual electrical company name or location are given.

So I may be interviewing for work over the next few weeks which, if successful, will put an end to my neckbearding phase.

I haven't worked since June last year. It saddens me to end this phase of my life.

I'm trying to decide on if I should grow my hair and get dreads done properly, or cut it short. I think the short hair would help more for job interviews as it's neater, but I prefer having long hair. I get mixed reviews from people about how to keep my hair. All of my dude mates tell me to grow it and get dreads, a couple of girls say dreads, some say just keep it long and curly, others are like it's better when it's shaved. I don't like it the length where I have to style it, I'm not the kind of guy who likes to have to style his hair.

I'd say avoid dreads for now.

Hair doesn't have to be short, you can keep it a bit longer for a natural look so long as its neat.

Shaved is also always good when work is concerned.

Ahhhrrg the horror of it all here in SA we have had 3 weeks of hot humid weather and still 3 to go and maybe more, perhaps it will never stop and we will have to live in eternal damnation doomed to have 33*C forever.
Usually we have dry heat here so you sweat easily, humid heat locks the perspiration in.

I think it is an omen of things to come the coalition will control every state and Federal Government and then the Australian people will know what living in hell is truly like.

I blame J Gillard she has the leadership qualities of a limp fish and from all reports she never went to WA to support her party during the election and so the people of WA said well then fc you.

The only good thing on the horizon is T Abbott wins the election and i must say that when little people get into authority nothing good ever comes of it, any way the coalition will behave in there usual draconian fashion the unions will react and we will see a rebirth of the massive strikes that are inevitable.
The only good thing that will come of it is the Australian people will be reminded once again why you don't vote for the coalition and then send them back into oblivion.

For sure T Abbott is no J Howard that guy was Australia's version of Ming the Merciless he walked around with a scythe in his back pocket just in case he felt like lopping off a few heads.

the problem is that labor in australia is no longer in primary industry. we dont have the numbers like we did

its all service industry and those guys dont have unions

its like in the 80's 80% of workers were in unions and the service industry was tiny compared to today where 20% of ppl are in unions

but that old model is pretty dead - blue collar worker is dead

these days the guys doing ur plumbing or working construction dont have the middle men they run their own outfit and so a builder is a management guy he is white collar cause he runs a business and employs people and its a company but that head builder still calls himself a "blue collar" guy when he is down the pub but isnt in a union nor are those he gets to work for him

the builder here still calls himself a "worker" he is a tradie but has a million dollar house and a 100k car and votes liberal cause he wants less tax and more control over those who works for him

20 years ago that guy would have been just another worker now he is a corporation

labor doesnt get it but the greens do. 20 years ago labor were almost the same policy greens are today. 20 years ago liberal was where labor is today, its all moved right and green is now where labor was 20 years ago

the prob is media. ppl still trust media even tho its a shameless plug for the company owners now and to see it all u would vote green but that takes intelligence and knowledge to see the past contrasted with today

the average voter isnt a smart guy he just watches tv and reads the wrong papers but hey these days its the only paper in town

Would be so curious to know how one gets himself in this occupation.

Saudi Arabia runs short of sword-wielding executioners

Quote:
SAUDI ARABIA may be forced to change its method of execution from beheading to the firing squad after running short of swordsmen, according to news reports.

An official in the ultra-conservative kingdom said that sword-bearing executioners "are not readily available everywhere and on some occasions, executions were marred by confusion as the executioner was late in showing up at the designated public place".

Politics aside, it was hot and dry as a nuns nasty when I was down there last month.
I'm going for two weeks starting next weekend, should be a nice break from the rain here.
I won't spend too much time in Adelaide this time around though.
Last time the fringe festy was on, prolly the only time of year Adelaide is interesting.

WA has always swung towards liberal. Now even more because she brought out the mining tax and carbon tax which are off course going to effect people in WA more than any other part of Australia.

Yeah. Thats the typical condescending greens attitude that gets the voters flocking to them.
Ppl don't vote for greens because they are "stupid" They don't vote for greens because the greens are just too weird. The greens might fluke one good policy out of a 100. Most of their policies just cost jobs and increase taxes. Remember the carbon tax was a greens idea. And a lot of ppl, as stupid as we may be, know this.
They don't vote for labour because labour has turned their back on them. Labour no longer gives **** about them. And libs become the best choice, because although they are mainly for the upper middle class. They are for jobs. And ppl know they will get jobs with liberals, even though they might have **** policies like the rest of the parties. They will at least get some benefit from them being in power.
