lol there not stuipid pdart and every one is been monitored but as ive only seen one hacker in there and there isent many high pingers and telaporting dosent happen as much and you get more fps every seams to be happy and we have fun

I believe the gameops are actively monitoring the servers by using some tools (if not in game), however, i also think that the current issue is overwhelming and simply can't be resolved by kicking high pingers and hackers. GameArena has provided a resolution by wanting to add a firewall, it is just right for us to see how will it work rather than just complaining endlessly. If what you guys mean is to see pdart and other gameops more often to socialize, perhaps it is more accurate to just say so
Unfortunately i think GameArena may not be too familiar with all different Fear clans and it will also be troublesome to have each representative from different clans, that is why an application process is in place.

Such was the warning we at received at XPK. After one of our team members plus a 11 other people were subjected to these freaky incidents. Some hacker gained control over the server and was able to manipulate things at will.

Apparently GameArena only. I know pdart is aware of this, and they have his GUID thankfully.
One, would hope they permanently ban this person.

Gameops and GA Admins can ban them all they want, but unless these offenders have a static ip address they are back in a few minutes, as all these idiots have to do is get a new key and reboot their router/modem

Simple things like posting about how changing keys will let you back in the servers will be very helpful to hackers. So far I haven't seen anyone changing GUID's with hacks so don't post tips on how to avoid bans please. Zero, all those hacks are common, its all one hack and I found the website somewhere, but I lost it =(. People can do anything an admin can do plus more with that hack.

unless you are thick it does not take a genius to figure out what i previously posted, and the reason you haven't seen them change GUID's is because they do what i posted after they get banned

So perfect to you means empty? A full server sounds much more perfect. With the firewall it may make it hacker free but it will lose alot of players.

sorry to burst a bubble here guys, but you can't ban these guys that are hacking..... there is a group of about 20-25 people doing it at the moment and the website which they got it off is now not selling the program so there is no way to get it. And the program thye use has an unban feature, so u can't band them.

The only options you can do are the following

1) wait them out - as they will grow tired of doing it (another two months and we will loose them i guess)
2) move to different servers - which alot of us are doing then when they go either stick with the new server or go back to gaemarena servers

But they are slowing down now abit compared to two weeks ago

correct, but i am not not sure that once they are logged on cogs/the arena and ingame also if their ip's are logged, if so i am sure they will be banned from fear plus GA

TBH GameArena's state of play is the worst so far, I don't think I have ever seen a hacker on any other Australian servers out there yet I see atleast one person using cheats here. GameArena is nowhere near perfect but it can come close if they would offer help and listen to players that play the game. I'm not leaving GA, I'm mainly here for fun and if the majority of players still play here, I'll play here but I would prefer other servers because of some reason, GameArena seems to attract bs.

also, every server will incounter hackers / idiots etc etc, even KGN will, so try not to advertise KGN on here because the hackers on ga will move to KGN lol..and we dont want them there

i havnt had problems with Gamearena in the past, but its like they dont care for fear, and dont really WANT to deal with problems, gamearena REALLY needs more admins which are interactive, even if u have different levels of admins like KGN and only give certain players kicking/banning(for a short period of time) rights...i dunno, fear game arena is going downhill and it wont suprise me if it gets worse and worse ..

samsungfm's post was not pointless, read it, he made a post, his own point which I'm sure we're all allowed to have our own say. He made a point, I agreed, and his post was removed for being "pointless". ATM admins have been removing posts even though they need to be heard, admins are ignoring us people and ignoring the fact that GAMEARENA FEAR SERVERS COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER IF VERY SIMPLE THINGS ARE DONE. Sure we may sound like **** but read the facts, we play the game, we know whats happening, yet **** all is being done.

First step;

One more GameOP that is knowledgeable, knows basically everything that is needed and not call hacks on the wrong people (you failed the test =p). One that has FEAR contacts everywhere, uses xfire, msn, mirc etc. Here's an idea, admins pick a suitable person BUT before he becomes a GameOP, "actual" players get asked like me to say if he's suitable or not.

GA is just like this teacher I have for a subject, its ICT information computer technology or something, but, she's trying to teach us English when we're doing a Flash presentation, you ask her a question about using Flash, she answers you with things from microsoft word, wtf, also we're working in partners and we can't sit next to each other :S, we have to do a 10 minute movie and she cant even do it herself, its like talking to a door knob.

They are there to help us, help you remove trubble makers from the server...

I believe that NDA forms were sent out so hopefully we will have a new gameop very soon.
