Kill reports are a bad idea, and are unrealistic. I'm all for discovering the identify of your assailant if you can kill them but they wouldn't be yelling out their name when they shoot you so it shouldn't put up their name if they shoot you.

Yeah gotta agree, kill report is nice on BF where you respawn with all your gear, but on a perma death game it will just encourage revenge deathmatch behaviour, especially having tags on....

and guys this server will be a 20 SLOT server as i will have 250GB of data and the 50 slot requires 2TB/per month, so yea screw that haha

Shouldn't be able to know who shot you unless you shoot them. If you want to know *what* you got shot by, learn weapon sounds.

Nah mate just leave tags off I reckon, if a group can't communicate their positions correctly then they deserve to die from friendly fire lol. And if I go prone and a hostile group is walking past, I would be spewing if they only found me because I was in the tag radius...my two cents worth lol.

Yeah leave the tags off too. If it's someone you know you know their name, if you don't know them it encourages you to ask, which promotes sociability.
And as Bait said, if it's a hostile you don't want them spotting you and vice versa.

Just confirmed myself that all vehicles are not reseting fuel on restart so thats +1 for me and +0 for rocket

exept this is ALOT harder than makin action figures because ive actually gutted dayZ itself to give myself access to the weapons......
BUT another thing when i get it released im gunna get someone to go to NWAF and fire a M107 as a dare then laugh because of the 5x Amount of zombies hes gunna get mobbed
