Cardinal, dude, I dont think we ever got to know each other and to hear news like this is just a tragedy. I am very sorry to hear your news and I just hope that someway you will either get through this or find peace within yourself.

It never is easy to find the words in situation like this but I am sure everyone on the DoD community wishes you all the best.

Cardinal think positive. Most quacks always give worse case scenario and a lot have nfi.

I have seen many people get thru the big C with a positive outlook, change in diet and surrounding themselves with positive people as well.

Most go through a bad stage during kemo but have pulled thru well.

I am not you, but can only give those thoughts.

I guess it's hard to give support or advice to a guy you've never met. But to hear a situation like that it does put things in perspective.

If your time really is up then your not a coward mate, at least you've got the courage to be realistic, just make sure you do what you've got to do and say what you've got to say so that when you leave you have no regrets.

But then again I've never met an Aussie thats given, fight till the end, no mercy, no regret, no defeat.

All the best champ.

BTW gg mate. You were always a good solid DoDer and I salute you.

Slaccky, omg what can you say to that. Best of luck with everything and hope things work out for you. I've known several people in the same situation as you and I can honestly feel for you.

No op in their right mind would take away your opportunity for a goodbye like this.

Best of luck all round from everyone on GA.

If I see you wasting your time in IRC instead of doing what really matters I'll be **** off

Your a good bloke, always liked you and im really sad to hear this news. I sincerely hope you beat this

As a qualified Radiation Therapist, i'd just like to say also to never lose that fighting spirit. I've seen heaps of people told by Oncologist's there time is up but yet they have fought and got through their illness and live with a good quality of life. All the best man, you will be in good hands as Australia is quite advanced in terms of cancer treatment.

I know we dont really know each other but I just want to say to keep fighting and never give up. The human spirit is a gift and it can accomplish amazing things. Keep your head up buddy and never let go.

Nevermore.

take it head on. Don't give in and give it your all. You only get one chance and it's not over yet. People have got through it before.

Theres no reason to apologise for anything. We all have our witless moments and it means nothing at the end of the day.

dont know you at all but i think we have all met loss once or twice in our lives...so whatever solace my words can give you i hope u take

my great grandma was told she had a month or 2 left to live...so on her 79th she had her 80th bday....7 years later she's still stronger than i could ever hope to be at that age

moral of the story...live life like there is no tomorrow which is the way it should be lived neway and much respect to someone with the courage to stand up and be counted at such a demanding stage of your life

good luck

WTH with all the removals...Diet Diet Diet I almost bought the big one a month back with liver failure and was looking at transplant time..changed my ways and things look good....give the liver cleansing diet a read to see how to get the liver at its best, cause a good liver is half the battle ;) A dog or cat helps too...pet therapy :) Never surrender champ, cause too many people will miss you ...

my prayers are with you Slackky, i've seen the pain cancer can bring first hand and i know it will be a tough journey. dont dispair - be happy and content- poeple love you and are praying for you so give it your best shot mate.

my thoughts are with you :)

------
and to the iG 2 year olds..
something like this can change your perspective of life, all of a sudden everything around you is irrelevent and you are searching for a purpose in all this negativity. Unfortunently your lack of maturity or maybe even humanity is winning and is suggesting that you really dont have anything else in life other then this stupid game. You really need to look out from under that rock you've dug yourself and ask yourself is anything really worth it.
because you sirs are worthless.

He's around noob. Everyone deals with cancer, and thoughts about death in different ways. Nice of certain individuals to show us how unsympathetic and lacking in humanity they are. I sincerely wish scott the best of luck dealing with, and fighting against his cancer. That said, I'm gonna show no mercy on teh dod servers :)
