i recently purchased forza 4 to use with my new fanatec csr elite wheel (official forza 4 wheel) and i also have had GT5 since it was released, and i played abit of forza over the weekend and well i pretty much gave up as it sux with the wheel. Rear wheel drive cars are completely uncontrollable always spinng out WTF???

i have all assists off and steering on simulation setting on both forza and gt5 and i find GT5 much better to drive, maybe i just need to play with my wheel settings abit more for forza 4?

what do you's think GT5 vs forza 4 which is better and why?

Iv never played GT5 but Forza 4 was not as good as Forza 3 in my opinion (i only really played Forza 4 for a week or two but i played Forza 3 for 2 years) but you have to tune each individual car perfect on it for the spinning to stop. It's a pain in the **** i know but it really is a good car Sim when you get the hang of it and it also ha **** view for every car and other cool stuff.

Get a license and a **** car.

VE SSV 6L with 282rwkw is decent enough (current mods include otr, headers, cats, twin 3" zorst and tune) looking at getting cam package, high stall converter, diff gears (3.27 or 3.7 not sure yet?) and retune after tax time maybe......


but i like my racing car games, love being able to thrash million $ cars and not have to pay for em or get booked for speeding and drink driving and numerous other traffic offences

Much much much prefer Forza. In fact its the only thing I miss about not having a 360 anymore.

GT5: The menus are cluttered & take too long to load, the AI sucks, the career mode is retarded, the whole appearance/presentation of the game down to the choice of music is just distasteful.

The arrogant GT5 developers scoff about how 'everything is on the disc that shipped' and how they have no intention of making any improvements to the game post release. True to their word, the only bones they've tossed since release are incredibly overpriced car DLC's ($7 for 5-6 new cars? great thanks for that assh--e).

Finally car list in GT5, to me, blows. No aussie cars, no Porsche, no Audi RS4, no MK6 Golf GTI... zzzzz ...

GT5 is more like a PC sim, not exactly user firendly but fairly deep

Forza is a more focused game, better menu, goals etc. but wheel support is a bit **** (microsoft fault i thenk)

physics more realistic towards GT5 but not by much, anyway for tru realism just **** drive to werk and bore your balls off
