Now before anyone trolls this post, I'd just like to point out. Yes there aren't many clans left in Bfv that still have consistent active players. I am aware of this and don't need to be reminded :D

So I was thinking we could do a new ladder like we did the state of origin, with the different states and whatever. Or they could be just divided into random teams of active players, I don't know whatever.

I think it would be great to get some player active again and it would be better than having clan battles when certain teams don't show up... *Cough*

Please post ideas and comments :D

It will be tough to motivate anyone LJ mate. Good thought though.

Even ranga trolls like N@@BS frequent this forum more than most players.

Unfortunately Porny is right. There're only about 20 low ping regulars that frequent the servers now.

P.S. Version 3 is out now Porny.

What do we have at the moment? 4 clans? (evo btw aus nV)
And even that's too many clans (and not enough players) for regular scrims.

Maybe NZ vs AUS would get people showing up for a fortnightly scrim??

There is only 1 active clan in bfv (AUS) and possibly nV?

I'm in, maybe we should have a sign up page for those who want to participate then we can get a clear idea of how many are committed....?
The idea of an ongoing international series also appeals.. We could have our own Bledisloe Cup and we could use your inflatable sheep as the trophy LJ ;-) then it will be easy for postage across the Tasman...

Strangely enough I think this a great idea !!! Let's do it. I think the International flavor has more of a chance of survival.

Thank you Porny but I am a bit concerned you just want to get hold of the sheep for one of your upcoming productions..... ;-)

Season 2 of the BFV Ladder has been running since 2005...It's got to be one of the longest running ladders ever

I am working on a new site to link all the clans so we can all easily battle and challenge each other and have a ladder tournament. Each clan can submit ads for their site and tell people why they think should join them, I am also keen on the idea of a GA ladder, but maybe in the meantime we can test this out. I have a great ladder and tournament system that should work nicely, if clans are using joomla, phpbb, or vbulletin we may be able to get universal integration so that members from any of the clans site's can be automatically logged on when they go to the central site. Let me know what you guys think

Spyda is a true hero of the game. you say die he says ...what?? I can't be dead I heard the question. BFV will die eventually but while it still has some breath...Go for it Spydie.
