which is another negative point for us wanting more vietnam maps. They've got our money for vietnam, now So soon, they want more of our money for BF3, Greedy buggers. Instead of trying to maximise the experience out of the vietnam extension, they'll prefer to get the quick cash from a new game.

There's too many games as it is and I think it will backfire on them.

COD MW2 could have been the ultimate game on pc but ended up being crap due to hackers BO is the same they took the money and ran fixed nothing f them.

I now will not buy another COD title and will play the ones I have till they die like bfv.

As for BF3 ... Cant they just fix/add content to the games they have already I'm not interested in any more of theirs either.

Lol...

MW2 was a stinky piece of **** and it was a fail game. The COD experience was fresh & exciting with COD4, then they decided to reskin the game, take away dedicated servers & sell it with a new name at a premium price.

Anyways, BF3 will be an awesome game as it will have the new Frostbite engine so any improvements over the current has me sold.

I haven't been playing that many games. Once BFV turned to rubbish I got back into Counter-Strike & COD4 and then to BC2.

You're right about too many games. I have Cod 4 too, but have never played it online, only single player. But thats the computer industry, there's ALWAYS a new video card or CPU released and the game developers strive to keep pace by making games with extra graphics etc, as we all know.

The flipside of this is of course, all the bad boy hackstars want to be the best in these new games and move onto them, which might be a good thing for bfbc2V, once BF3 comes out, they'll be playing that, not bfgobc2:ttj2Vietnam.

MW2 was coded for a console and so was bad company, games that are coded for consoles then modified for pC always turn out rubbish because they are coded for less powerfull machines with far less imputs, ie, gay pad vs key board n mouse.
BF3 is apparently being writen for PC first, so hopefully it will turn out like a proper pc based game but who knows.

BC3 info only. They say now that bf3 wont be pc exclusive, and they'll pay "special attention" to pc version so it doesnt appear consolee.

Believing a studio executive is like believing a politician ?

I see in the end act that the dude goes prone. We had a short game of BFV the other night and it felt wierd being that close to the ground after BC2 play. I prefer non-prone, helps you find the hiding girls.

But prone is far more realistic and snipers need it.
BFV still owns the BF range in my opinion, its choppers are like flying real remote ones, no other game even come close.l used BFV and the loach in reverse view to practice before flying a new 3 thousand dollar electric chopper, wouldnt recommend any BS flight sim you can get for training, get BFV, period. The loach is the only chopper in it that is good for remote practice , but no other game has any !

l recon a lack of prone is very very poor programming, its like getting a calender thats missing the day monday on every week !

God l hope BF3 is coded for PC first and foremost. l will probably still bye it and give it a go, because l have a copy of all the battle field range of games.

Cheaper to code for console, the suckfull mongrels have got shat for brains.

Coding for consoles first just gives the PC version meshing issues and megga bugs !

And the Vietnam add on has died already. Just like the overpriced AF and EU add ons for BF2 that were played for five minutes. If you waited long enough, you'd be able to get the Vietnam add on for free in a patch for BFBC2 just like they did for BF2.
Another good reason why BFV is the best online game ever, if not for that simple fact alone, is that all mods etc, were for no extra charge and kept people playing them for months. Poe being the best example.

BF2 had a console version. It was under a different title and was actually advertised on tv for a short time. I think it was exclusive to Xbox but I can't remember exactly.
As far as BF3 is concerned, I don't think I'll be buying into it. I don't think it will be worth buying a new rig like I did for BF2. I have a laptop that would probably be able to cut it, but I **** hate gaming on laptops.

Battlefield Modern Combat. But it was a significantly different game.

Yeah, I was just having a look on You Tube to see if I could find the tv advert for it but no luck.
The single player actually looks like it was a few years ahead of it's time.
Jeez I wonder where some of the ideas for COD MW came from.
I will never again think that anything with the Battlefield tag is copying anything else.

No the battlefield range got it right first, 1942 was awesome for its day, and really showed the planets game creators what us gamers wanted, bfv was even better, Bf2 was more advanced with maps and interaction but the code on bf2 meant that it became a bit laggy and you needed to hit someone 9 times or more to kill them, an error in my opinion, first person games should have realistic deadly guns, like bfv has.2142 was a bit of a flop, mostly young people bought that.
Bad company focused on destroyable maps taking away from some of the air wars that people are used to with the battlefield range, another error in my opinion.
Now were comming up on BF3, l will have a copy for sure.
You gotta try them, and with windows 7 comming online they can do alot more with the game, theres some beefy pc's out there now compared to 8 years ago.
l liked frontlines fuel of war as well, that was created by a group of people from the original 1942 programming team, and it was better than BF2 or any of the ones after it in my opinion, it had deadly guns, awesome maps, and frekin insane bombs, like the oxygen bomb, l frapped it manya times , looks like a nuke going off, and smashes everything in range, 16 kills at once !
Gotta love games like that, the 1942 programming team really know there stuff, l really hope the get back together some day and bring us BF4 ! It would PWN !

I think bvf was probably the best ever fps game. Looking forward to bf3. I hope it is made for pc in mind. Mooshoo is right they are making a lot of games, lately. If you look the spacing of the releases of bf42, bf2 and bfv compared to cod mw2 and blackops etc. It'll be good if bf3 has dedi servers. And i hope all the lads from ga bfv server turn up. As although there was a lot of ****. It was a good gaming community.,
