************************************************************************************************* Community Notice --- Squishyz Removed From [AIM] ClanThis is something that any clan administrator hates to come across and really does not wish to deal with. Over the past 2 days, the [AIM] executive has been investigating and dealing with accusations of suspect play by one of our members. It is with great displeasure that we have to post about such matters, and are publicly announcing that we have removed Squishyz from our clan. This is following an exhaustive investigation by [AIM] clan executive over the past 72 hours and Squishyz’s own admission (on 5/11/2012) that he is in breach of the [AIM] clan rules and has used a game-enhancing program in correlation with Battlefield 3. In the past, there had been questions raised about Squishyz’s flying of jets, and accusations of him using a constant speed hack. When these concerns were raised to us, we investigated seriously and extensively. We also spoke to Squishyz about these accusations after we had monitored him closely, and also had video evidence to show that he was not using such a hack. As such, we cleared Squishyz of using a jet speed hack after much scrutiny. However, the past 3 to 4 days, Squishyz’s performance in infantry based games has seen a marked improvement. Several players, both from our own clan and externally, raised questions after seeing Squishyz turn from a good player to an unbelievably exceptional player. We want it noted that this improvement has only taken place since the start of November. Please examine the following stats from a period from 23 October to 29 October. The following is a table of some of the better infantry players we know going around. Every player on the following list exhibits nothing out of the ordinary, nothing suspect or strange. Great players (except that OeterB guy), and, sure, they’re high, KDR, HK% (headshot per kill %), kills and accuracy all seem normal and plausible. Now compare this to 11 hours of game play by Squishyz during November: Perhaps the problem is even better highlighted by narrowing it down to 7 hours of game play by Squishyz during November: As you can see, the stats go from being an average/good player to being amazing. During 7 hours of game player, he gets over two times as many kills as ex-Carnage current-AA player, Gr3ml1n; he gets almost as many kills as -LG-Quick in 5 hours less time; his headshot-per-kill ratio goes through the roof; his KDR is ridiculously high. Every other player on that list is consistent in their scores and abilities, except for Squishyz. Further proof of this massive jump in the last few days is exhibited by the following graph (the red line showing the 1st of November, when double XP started): It took him two months to earn approximately 2000 headshots before the start of November. He made 2000 headshots in the space of about 3 days since the start of November. As an example of a round in recent times, please feel free to examine the stats from a round on Metro on 5/11/2012: http://bf3stats.com/report/pc/48094637#SquishyzIn 19 minutes on that server (during a 57minute round), Squishyz takes MVP with 183 kills (112 from an AK-74M) and receives 25 accuracy ribbons. i.e. From 183 kills, he made at least 125 headshots. Upon confronting him with this evidence, after some discussion, he admitted he installed a program at the start of November that provides a “yellow cross” overlay on his screen. He has stated that all this does is show where the centre of his crosshairs are at all times. He continued to say this is the only thing he has done differently, and states that this is the only ‘hack’ he has been using. Whether this is the only thing Squishyz has been using, we are unsure. Upon watching video evidence, and the stats alone, his suspicious play and admission of using the 'yellow cross overlay' is reason enough for us to expel him from [AIM]. It is up to the community what they think otherwise with regards to if he was using anything else. Regardless, the [AIM] executive have a zero-tolerance policy on any form of game alteration or hack, and Squishyz has been removed from the clan. Unfortunately, this has put [AIM] in an awkward position with regards to GameArena 10s Rush and GameArena 16s Conquest. All evidence (included above, and Squishyz’s testimony) indicates that any hack or advantage he had has only been used since the start of November. That said, we would like it noted that Squishyz played in our last 16s CQ game (which we lost, regardless) and in two of our recent 10s Rush games. This includes the final against BushRangers on Sunday 28 October. We present the score cards from said game against bR on the 28th: Round1 Round2. While we are certain that Squishyz was not hacking during these games, nor even during this period, we felt the need to make this all public. We will accept whatever decision the ladder admins make in regards to our position in both ladders and our placement in the Rush finals. Many regards, OeterB On behalf of the [AIM] Clan Senior Executive

Nice one Oeter. Although, I would comment that he has been suspect for longer than you may think, many pilots I know always thought he was using the 315 script.
Love the amount of evidence. I hope AIM can recover from this.
LOL at Gremlin on exceptional players table.

From my perspective I have no issue with AIM, in a perfect world we have no hackers but they do tend to turn up when you dont want them, AIM are a good bunch and I have had great games with them and look forward to doing so further, well done on outing the cheat guys, see ya next week.

We investigated that quite seriously at the time when it was brought to our attention. I just replied to someone over on CG forums on this very matter: Quote: As far as we're concerned, we are 100% sure that he was not using the 315 Jet Speed hack. We had multiple pilots, both from our clan and from friendly clans, follow him without his knowledge. Nobody saw anything untoward. We examined multiple videos by him or featuring him, and nothing we saw was indicative of the Jet Speed hack. Not one person ever showed us evidence of him using it; people said he did, yet, all these jet pilots who constantly record never recorded him. So, that's that. In the four months he was in the clan, nobody presented us any evidence to the contrary. Whenever anything was raised (about any member), we investigated accordingly.

Wow that's quite a rap sheet you've got up there...
a few FAP members made comments to me about Squishy over the past few days with a few choice words to describe his performance. I did my own investigating and brought my thoughts to Oeterb.
I could imagine its a horrible feeling being presented with so much heat against someone you play with side by side and I am impressed with the sportsmanship of AIM to name and shame this player.
As for the rush finals, given the evidence you've presented I don't really see a reason for AIM to be removed. I think most clans will agree you guys got into the finals with the skill of all your members not just the one.
I hope all clans with follow the same format of AA and AIM with keeping the game clean from these sort of hackers.

I'm more concerned with the fact that I'm not listed as one of the 'better' infantry players hahahaha Just kiddin' around.
In all seriousness I've played with Squishyz for a long time as a fellow clanmate in AIM, and I've always known him as a good infantry player but in the past week he has spiked up exceptional skill which has proven hard to believe as the evidence shows. =[

I'm impressed AIM has a Senior Execuitve.
Did he offer an explanation to why he did it, or did you not ask?
Just want to know what goes through peoples minds when they deliberatly dl a program to cheat.

Just want to know what goes through peoples minds when they deliberatly dl a program to cheat. We actually have a three tier executive. We have over 80 members. Sooooooo, we need a good structure. When we questioned him as to if he was doing anything, as outlined in the first post, he said he was only using a program that provided a "yellow cross overlay" to show the centre of his crosshairs. He believed there was nothing wrong with it. He stated that it does nothing else but show the centre crosshairs. But we cannot be certain either way. Regardless, the use of overlays, macros, programs to enhance or change the game in any way that is different to how the developers provide the game and gives you a competitive edge over others is not allowed in [AIM]. So he was removed due to that, and evidence of his current play presented to the public for them to decide for themselves with regards to the situation.

Good to see clans coming forward about this stuff.
Not convinced he wasn't suss in a jet though, you'd kill him a couple of times and then it was like he'd flick a switch and suddenly be able to maintain perfect speed. Who knows though.

Keep an eye out for keCHOW, an entire metro server turned on him the other morning while I was trying to complete an assignment. He sniped me a few times with an AEK971, it was pretty much de-de then I was down, 4 or 5 times in a row this happened in the exact same way, also I had full health from a good distance. His KDR was like 86-10, then again metro is pretty **** horrid and it could have been lag but there was a heap of players raging.
Im not accusing anyone just passing on what happened becuase of this thread.

Cheers, Xeper, we'll look into it. *Edit* A preliminary look, though, his stats show nothing out the ordinary. Steady/slow increase of kills, a decrease in accuracy and HK%, normal increase of headshots. He's been a ground pounder for some time and is a solid player. But we'll look into it, regardless. *Another Edit* Round in question you mention is this: http://bf3stats.com/report/pc/47953898#KaCHOWz30 headshots out of 90 kills, on Metro, isn't OVERLY hard. Most other rounds it's like 15-20 headshots out of 140+ kills on high ticket Metro rounds. Looking at that and several other rounds, it all seems normal. Just you copped his headshots on a good round for him. As I said, he's just a solid infantry player. But, yeah, will keep an eye on, regardless. Anyway, moving on.

The AEK-971 is my favourite gun, it just felt really wrong when he shot me, also the added nerd rage made it more suspect, it was only last weak this happened but **** its metro you know whats it like.

Is there any truth to the allegation he setup a union slush fund during his time in the AIM clan?

Funny that the 'good players' you were putting him up against, eg Valzo & Quick have both recently been banned from CG matches for hacks hahah

I don't think Kegal was having a go at you, mud. We were laughing about this yesterday or the day before, too.
I'm actually refraining from saying too much on Squish and the current situation over at CG. But it is damn nice to see the admins taking some serious action.
