Map was Damavant and the stage was set for a show down.After our last meeting at Grand Bazar where the TOG guys gave us a nasty touch up we came to this war looking for revenge!
Round 1- H1I were RU and our roll out went fairly well and both teams clashed inside the tunnel as expected to try and take C flag.Our first push didn't go to plan and the Tog guys took C with there tank in close support and had the early bleed on us,but the boy's weren't going to let it go that easily and regained control soon after there tank was taken down.But the TOG guys weren't that interested in a **** fight in the tunnel they were after E&D flags instead and with a very sneaky helli drop and a well placed spawn beacon they massed in numbers and took us from behind harder than a New South Welshman on mardi-gra night in Sydney.After our tank respawned and half a dozen H1I troops fell back to retake both flags the pressure was then on them to retake A and B flags which we capped while they were flanking us.For a short time we had all 5 flags but with that bloody beacon hidden behind us they kept us falling back to retake our back flags and kept our forces fighting on 2 different fronts but we eventualy prevailed to win the round 105-0.
Round 2- This round was basicly a carbon copy of the first with plenty of flanking going on but this time around we were content with holding A,B and C flags and only pushed out of the tunnel a couple of times after we cleared up all the sneaky bastards who had got behind us.The round ended and we won the match 203-0.
It was a great game and as allways a pleasure to play against a great clan.
