The 10v10 Rush ladder is now ready to accept teams. To register simply follow the linkWe anticipate opening the ladder in 2 weeks time with the rules being added early next week. Currently the rules will be very similar to the 16v16 ladder with the exception being the rule of no mortar use. I am sure a few teams will enjoy this format. Oh also there will be servers for the top teams, further information to come.

Though, it has been outlined above that it'll be the same/similar rules as the Conquest ladder, with the added "no mortars" rule. I'd be interested in how the scoring will take place. Is the score submitted at the end of each round how many M-Coms are left? If so, what if both teams have the same number of M-Coms left at the end? Or both teams make the end? Are another two rounds then required to determine a winner, or is it classified a draw? I think one thing, too, is that I didn't even notice there was a Rush ladder until I read it here. I didn't see the thing on the other page because the Conquest ladder is up first. Perhaps a bit "RUSH" needs to be slapped across the rush image?

Rules wont be much different to CQ ladder in principal, Only difference is 10v10 and no mortar.
2 rounds, most mcoms destroyed wins, if a draw then quickest time wins.
Otherwise not much else to add.
We have a ruleset in the works which we hope should be up on the website very soon (depending on admin time alocation)

The quickest time wins? The defending team of the quickest game wins (i.e. the team that manages to eliminate the Attacking team's tickets quickest)? It's all a bit messy there, because if the attacking team wins with the quickest round, you could feasibly take the same number of M-Comms and suicide yourself to victory. Bit confusing, but I'm sure it'd all be clarified in the rules when they go up. If a draw happens, should go to TDM  Haha.

No matter what there's going to be matches that end up in stalemates. Although i'd like a rule that is if both teams no dot destroy any MCOMs in both rounds, that they go another 2 rounds and try once more. Matches with 0 MCOMs destroyed may only take 15 minutes in total, so getting time to play again and have another shot at attacking would be awesome, and may change the results of some matches.
If it's 3 MCOMs and 3 MCOMs, i can see how this is a different story. Can you grab stats from the servers about the time in the round that the MCOMs were destroyed?

With ADSA's stats you can..
IT will show a increase in ticket count at the times that the 2nd of the pair are destroyed.

Here we go in my boredom I did a little looking around and found the BC2 rush ladder and its rules... and here is the main point wih scoring 1.3 Match Format will be 8 v 8. Each match has a time limit of 120 minutes. Each match consists of a pre-game warm up and 2 rounds. The pre-game warm up is no more than 10 minutes. Each Round will start with 50 tickets. There will be no break between rounds. Each team must have at least 6 eligible players on their side to start the match. Each team must have no more than 8 eligible players connected to the server at any time. The defending team will decide if they defend or attack in the first round. Scoring will be 1 point for every mcom destroyed. The Captain of the attacking team is responsible for writing “mcom down” or “mcom destroyed” into global chat, whenever a mcom is destroyed. The team that destroys the most mcoms in the shortest time will be the winner. If neither team can destroy a mcom the match will be replayed immediately. The second round does not need to be played out to the end, once the attacking team has beaten the score set by the defending team in the first round or has taken less time to destroy the same mcoms. e.g. If team A destroys 3 mcoms in the first round, Team B only needs to destroy 4 mcoms in the second round to win the match or if Team A destroys 3 mcoms in 20 minutes and Team B takes 10 minutes to destroy 3 mcoms, then Team B will be the winner and Team B will enter a score that is 1 greater than Team A, ie 4-3 using the example above. The timer to be used is adsa_bot and can be seen in COGS channel #bc2ladder at the end of each round or at http://www.bc2stats.ws/garush/index.php. If the match ends with the scores even and the timer with the same times; then the match will be replayed immediately. Both Captains need to agree on the final score after the end of the match and write that agreement into global chat.

The end screen for rush games shows the time taken and number of mcoms destroyed. We will also be looking at increasing the ticket count so if zero mcoms are destroyed it will still go for a while. Which will also allow for some epic games where they go all the way as well.

While [AIM] still need quite a few players to sign up, we've enough to get some free play happening. If anything, a friendly challenge would likely cause more people to sign up (before we accepted, so they could play).

There was talk about not being able to use C4 on MCOMS, I agree with this however once the patch rolls out this might change the issue of players dying then setting off charges. Will there be any rules about this?

Curious as to how far off of rules being published, and Free2Play mode being opened to everyone. If for no other reason, only half my clan has signed up to the team, and most likely won't 'rush' (excuse the pun) to do so until we have a game on.
