Is it possible for GameArena staff to re-intoduce EA AU #06 GameArena [Gibraltar][48on64][BR] and EA AU #07 GameArena [Cerbere][48on64][BR]. They've been changed to Vehicle Conquests which IMO are quite pointless because there are already enough of those, including titans. If these servers have been temporarily changed in accordance with the BF2142 GA Ladder Finals, please add/PM an ETA return date.

I and many of my teammates believe that those two servers (6 & 7) were the most popular of GameArena, and to see it being taken away just disappoints much of the BF2142 community. Right at this current time (and for a long few days after the v1.4 2142 patch), there has been little to none activity - atleast none that I can recall of. I've been a proud supporter of GameArena servers, especially in the direction of GameArena #6 and #7, but not limited to Battlefield 2142 or the specifed servers.

If there are any opposers to this, I don't believe they have a passion for Battlefield gaming.

EA #06 was the favourite server of the **HYP** members, which caused its popularity to decrease. I'm pretty sure that EA #11, which used to be the conquest vehicle server, has been replaced by EA #06, which is the new conquest vehicle server, so there are still the same number of conquest vehicle servers as there used to be. This is my favourite server and if you don't like it, you don't have to use it, coz nobody is forcing you to. Although the titan maps have the same names, the conquest versions are slightly different and I can understand many people not wanting to play titan games since the prevention of titan movement in many servers.

Titan mode in itself is not actually so bad, it's just that it attracts the bad players who need more points than in a conquest server. There are way too many idiots for my liking and the worst are the ppl who spam the titan guns and kill teammates.

I don't have a problem with any of the other servers, but now I have to look. Titan is wicked fun, but it doesn't bring as much joy as if I were playing on GameArena #6, and I miss **HYP**. They we're a challenge (otherwise, you've got Voss newbies, snappers, and some uBer leet people). There was even a small group of people who created a clan called "Anti-Hyp", or an agreement of some sort. They we're basically **HYP** but worse if I remember correctly. They were all Voss and Pod Surfed just as much as **HYP** did.

I'll keep in mind of GA#3 if it's a Tunis Harbour dedicated, I might stick with that for a while if their DEDI Gibraltar or Cerbere doesn't come back /cry. And if GA#11 has been switched with GA#6, I'll gladly get on (but if they did change it, why go to the fuss of it? - besides Adsa said they've sacrificed a few servers ). /Rage Cry

Are you saying that CQ vehicles is the same as titan? Personally I would heaps rather play CQ vehicle than titan.

Lol, well if you compared them with their team they played on, they we're the only good ones (most of the time, and it wasn't really because of the constant surfing and roof camping). But if you've been on their team for most of your game time, you should try versing them (again, otherwise you have Voss to deal with). **HYP** brang decency to the game whereas you needed to properly co-operate to defeat them. This usually meant creating a full six (6) man squad and going around picking off as many **HYP** as you could. Though, I believe there were more whiners than people that could actually think and come up with a counter tactic.




No, I am simply referring to the fact that there was already enough Vechicle Conquests that we're not being used anyhow, including titans. Demand was far less than supply. It seems that their titan servers have been sc3wed or were scr3wed - another pointless use of a favourite server being refurbished to what they think is a good use.

In regards to GA#4, how dare they take it away! :O 10 v 10 is a great way to use a server, especially for those teams/clans who may want to try a whole side on a public.

Please include GA#4 in this topic (alongside with GA#6 and GA#7).

HYP were only good because they would catch you by suprise. I hadnt played in over a year, installed it about a month ago and they were beating me 1on1 in their favour when i first encountered them, simply because they would always be on some roof, or would appear right in front of you when your reloading or on low health. Once i started taking them off the roofs, they would come after my same jew spot constantly for revenge. If you're prepared for them like i was once i knew they knew where i were, they are a push over. All about them counter counter counter counter counter counter tactics if you know what i mean.

**HYP** are all great guys and friends of mine, and now without podsurfing they've gone back to medic whoring, so now dont whinge about being killed 1 v 1 fairly (and at least they dont use the voss[Like some pple >.<]).

ANd now back on topic; EA 6 + 7 were easilly the most popular and arguably the most enjoyed, great place to pick up new members for clans, meet new friends, and most of all, a great place to pwn n00bs =D

Why are we complaining about **HYP** exactly? Some of us really don't care whether they spin or not. Spinning has been taken away, so I don't know why the server was as well (if it ended up as a result of that). All I can say really, is that **HYP** was my only real challenge on GA#6, as they would and could surf half the map and start to get us from behind. This opened up a lot of the map and spreaded us thin. Ending a round was always fun, because you could compare their stats with yours and laugh.

If you're not prepared for anything, then you shouldn't be playing.
