It ain't a super clan, anyone who has played with PoS and 6^R in both DoD and BF1942 would know that they all suck  And mergers aren't the fastest way to kill off a community, long term clans dying due to lack of members is a lot faster.

The fact that I'm pretty sure the fact that PoS at least spent weeks trying to do that must have slipped your notice.
Seriously dude I'm not ragging on you. Just the fact that you didn't think that hard before you posted that.
Pos and 6^R had some standards of play. As such they didn't want to recruit total newbs and in-experienced players. They wanted to be at least competative. As any clan given their history would want to be.
Given that there were not enough available players of decent quality free to recruit into either clan, let alone both. Also given that neither clan wanted to completely disband. This is the logical alternative and I support them both 100%.
Should they keep 6^R's postion on the ladder? (The lower of the 2 positions I may point out) I dont' know. I do know that if they didn't within 3 games they'd be right back there anyway. And those three games wouldn't be fun for them, or for their lower rung opponents who would, quite frankly, be smashed.
With the standard proviso that this is all my opinion and my take on what has occured, I wish 6-Pack the best of luck in the upcoming matches and wish that your new look could have gotten of to a less contriversial and more open armed response from the forum community.

The best of PoS and 6R have merged to form a new force to be reckoned with.
Wat happened to the nonbest ???
Maybe thats where i got the leet attitude impression.Maybe a we merged to save both clans due to lack of players would have been more apropriate on the original post wouldnt have sounded as good but woulda been less open to scrutiny..

After "speaking" with other GameOps and asking what previous ruling was made in this type of situation, the most likely outcome will be that if either Clan retains half or more of its original roster then everything is sweet.
It was also proposed that the new clan begin its ladder entry at the lower clan's position.
However, if either Clan has less than half it's original roster, then they are considered as a new entry and thus back to the bottom of the ladder
Remember, the GameOps are interested in fairness to all the teams in the ladder, and how the mergers of leading teams might affect the overall "playability" of the ladder.
I can imagine that if a situation was to develop where two leading teams merged mid-season and blitzed the ladder so much that the other clans started to drop out then that would be perceived as a problem. Killing the ladder off would be disastrous and in the interests of no one. (I am not suggesting that PoS or 6R are in a position to do this)
Having said all that, I am not the Ladder Admin, I am only giving you feedback on what the GameOps discussed.

What would the difference be if Pos pulled out of the ladder and some of their players joined 6R. Nothing.
They just skipped a step.
If each squad had about 18 guys and only about 8 were active maybe the title should of been
"the active members of pos and 6r form 6 pack".
How do we know that the guys that were active were the "best" in their respective clans.

Look it realy wasn't a murger, we just let PoS join our team. We didn't wanna hurt their feelings so we changed our name to 6P which made it look like a murger when in fact it was a hostile take over!. mwahahahaha long live the reich. =P

BTW i like that everyone assumed that the "best" playas were the most talented and dangerous, whereas i am talking about from a clan perspective so they are the most committed ones, who work for a team. Anyway it is a game so have fun guys.
